so what's the deal today?? 10 days away and im hoping that on 16th the air waves get filled with nothing but htc evo fever!!! Sprint needs to come strong and hit the market hard with this phone and do advertising like Verizon did for the Droid!! They had everyone looking forward to the release w/so much anticipation thats why when it dropped it did so well! Now Sprint needs to do the same thing and hit it out of the park like an A-ROD Home Run!!

Judas Freaking Priest people, I go away for a day (explain in a bit) and i come back to see 3 full pages of posts. For a moment I thought I was in the Incredible thread. lol
Anyway, the ceiling in my office collapsed last Friday and coming back to work yesterday you figure they fixed it, but nooooo. So I had to resort to work in the conference room without any internet access. Then to make matters even better, when I go home the cable is out and my laptop was being used by my sister.
So in the meantime, I did a small video and uploaded it on youtube, but be forewarned, while the concept was good on paper, the actual video turn out somewhat crappy. lol (Actually it was in response to the marketing for EVO thread).

i seriously need to get a (dare I say it) a GSM world phone for my trip to Europe next month. Away for one day and its taking me a full day to catch up to these threads, I can only imagine when I'm away for a week.

Not worried about it, the Incredible will be a nice device but won't compare to the EVO 4G. Plus I would bet Verizon cripples the device like they have with other devices in the past.

Idk, this looks too big, like a brick. The phone is so thin and slick this will make it look like an old cell.

VZW has stopped crippling their devices like the old days. AT&T has took over that role from them. If you look at any of the newer VZW devices, they are not crippled at all.

Maybe so, I still don't see them promoting this phone as much as Sprint will promote the EVO.

. It's only rumors so far.
lol With the money i see Sprint using to advertise this bad boy, it would be funny as heck to see the EVO come in an egg carton like box, with no glitz or glamor.

I think it should come in Tin suitcase, then you have to unlatch the 2 clasps to open it up and then when you do, you see it laying nicely in this black egg crate foam... kinda like how the Jordan sneakers came that one time!!
But anyways, I def think they should give it some amazing packaging kinda like how T-mobile stepped out of the box a little with the HD2 boxing they used...different then there norm boxing!! everythings always in the details!!

snapdragon pinch to zoom man this phones so sweet...so follow me and htc as we take you on this leap(get it?).. through the pages...so many phrases this phone is sick, look out its contagious!! April 16th youll see what all the rage is...Sprint HTC The EVO is outrageous!!

I write my own stuff all the time and have been since I was younger!!
I wrote another one a page back I think and I will continue to do so every now and then just to make it fun in here and build on the EVO HYPE we all have surging through us

Ooo yeah, I want it to come in a Amazon.com hassle free brown card board box!
It might match the theme of the phone itself. Black matte colored box with maybe a tiny sprint logo in the corner. Red interior packaging and dividers. Almost an "Anti-Apple/All white" packaging design. That would be pretty sweet.
