With all the people here that claim they do, or did work for verizon, you would think so credible info would be able to sneek out.
So either verizon is locked down like cheyenne mountain or it just isnt coming in the near future, I for one am losing all hope to see it before the sun burns out.
 
There must be a lot of Droids sitting in the warehouse. Pretty soon they'll have BOGAD (buy one get a dozen).
 
NKT, are you expecting more hands on time with the Incredible? Btw, thanks for all the great info. What do you do for Verizon exactly?
 
This is like deja vu. This is turning into the Omnia II all over again which was seemingly ahead of it's time when the GSM version released in July. The CDMA version only took 5 whole months to release after FCC approval and was pretty much an afterthought by that time. A June release for the Incredible will basically render it old hash. The EVO is looking real good right now, especially since some believe its release might get pushed up to mid/late May. Clock is ticking, Verizon. You have until April 30th and then I wait to evaluate your offerings side-by-side with the competition, no holds barred. I'm tired of waiting around. Too much foot dragging going on at big red.

Seriously, how many more Droids do they want to clear up Stock from? I bet we could run a collection here and buy at LEAST (at full retail) ....4?

Verizon contract is up in May, any EVO release in may, is gonna make me hold off on an Incredible purchase until I use their Sprint Free Guarantee.

Been there on the Omnia thread...what a letdown. I have discovered Samsung's touch screens suck. I despise resistive screens. The Bada's touch experience better be miles ahead of all Samsung's other devices.

I'd go to Sprint but their coverage map says I should good coverage OUTSIDE the building where I work as they call their coverage "fair" in my area.

I'd going to go ahead and assume by fair they mean piss poor. ;)

I tried the Omnia II's touchscreen in the VZW store the other day. I discovered that the resistive display on my cheap $100 Tom Tom performs better.

Capacitive screens FTW!

Oh for Pete's Sake!!! It's April 6th....it's my birthday!!!! What happened to my INCREDIBLE???? because if you think FOR ONE MINUTE that something called a "Pure" or (God help us all)....a "Turtle" is going to suffice.....AAAUUUGGGHHHHH!!!!! And I hate "PINK"!
 
@ Steven58 & Scott5626, Sprint Voice can Roam on Verizon, not data. But a few years back Sprint sent termination notices to people who spent an exorbitant amount of time roaming.




BTW, Still hoping for Incredible release at the NFL Draft, earlier would be better but with the new contract that still seems logical and in line with recent posts. just my .02

Yeah, you can't do that. Each page builds on itself. You have to start from the beginning to really make sense of everything. Otherwise phrases like "the box" or "2 weeks" are meaningless.
