Any of the techies out there have a comment on this Eclair build dump? It specifically mentions the Incredible.

Really? Thats something I could really give two shits about...I'm sorry but I'm not going to be on the phone with someone and then do all the work for them as well...If they need info like that from me, I'll text it.

I honestly think alot of people on this boards and several boards like it are really hurting themselves. They take any story about launches or what not and believe it full tilt. Then when those stories don't pan out, they start getting angry. Very strange phenomenon.

Its been my experience that it isn't the rumors that set everyone off, so much as past customer service issues we've had with Verizon Wireless during other engagements; these boards just present the opportunity to vent about it when things remind us.

"Playing" with their customer base is to have information about phones and lying about and flat out deny that they exist. The fact that there are "rumor" dates and they do NOTHING to even deny them is ridiculous. If you don't care, why are you here?

Wait...Why do we care about a blackberry on the 25th? I have been trying to stay out this week studying for the Security+ cert so I apologize if I've missed it but does this give some significance to the release of the Incredible?

I said this a week or so ago. I like that Sprint has 4G available already and will be opening up more markets, but Verizon will blow past Sprint with 4G coverage by early next year. Sprint and Clearwire have limited capital. Verizon has much more and they're going balls to the wall with the build out. Case in point is how every quarter Verizon is posting a loss and all the haters come out and talk about how Verizon is in financial danger. BS. They're just spending like gangbusters to build out 4G. They have the best network now. They'll have the best network next year with 4G. That has never been in question. They just need to get better about making sure they're timely with releasing phones that make it all worth being on the best network.

It's not a blackberry. It's an unknown device. Could be Incredible.

on that note:

once this new LTE is up and running, do you think Verizon will use this as a ramrod to jack up the rates on the plans?

Will all of our plans on 3G transfer over, or will LTE be a lure for people re-upping and new customers, I wonder?

It's not ridiculous, this is why they didn't want anything leaked. There are plenty of business reasons to not announce it but so early. No one is leaving for another carrier at least until the summer so they don't have to make an announcement. If it's not ready, they aren't going to give a date they are unsure of.

Wow- you guys went nuts while I was out. Soooo, we have more evidence that release date is on the 29th correct anything else I missed ( other than twitter pron?)

Yeah my systems guy told me this was the easiest of the certs. Hopefully you are both right. I'm a software developer though and tend to leave all that networking stuff to someone else. I got the concepts down it's just remembering all the terminology. I will be glad when Friday afternoon gets here and I'm finished with it. The only thing that could make that better is if I could then go to my Verizon store and pick up my new Incredible. :D

Nothing is confirmed, we've just got more he said/she said. Not saying its false, I'm just not jumping on the "Its a date, so that must be it" bandwagon.

As someone said before, we know about an upcoming phone that we're not suppose to know about. Simple as that. Everything has been based on speculation as far as release dates. Sure, by some excellent sluth work, we've gotten details, but details we shouldn't know. I appreciate that we know. But I to the point, I'm not gonna be upset or pissed that it's not out when so and so said it would be. (ok, maybe I will ;))
I will get really upset when the phone isn't released AFTER Verizon releases the date.

Depending what version of the test you are taking, make sure you review the test if you "fail" a lot of the times there is the right answer on the test but other options work as well and the cert provider will credit you for the question if its another correct variation to the question asked.
