***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

Hurry up MM!!! I need to get to the gym soon and hearing some Incredible news before I leave would be great.....otherwise...I'll just have to come back here in a couple of hours.:p:D

I have been lurking this thread since MWC(sure feels like forever!) and only got around to registering recently. I have wanted to chime in on several occasions, mainly just to be part of the conversation but I have restrained d/t the fact that I had no real info to add. Like everyone else I've been obsessing over this mythical phone and have been driving my wife nuts about it for months, day in and day out. Are you on the forum again??? Is that damn phone ever really going to come out? What was in the box anyway? Now it's more or less a running joke between the two of us.

Now comes the weird part...

Nothing really substantial but I thought I might as well dive in with everyone else.

I was in Bellevue, WA today for work and getting some lunch at a sandwich shop when I started talking to this guy from HTC(he was wearing his badge) down the street! I knew they were in Bellevue but it's a pretty good sized area and really the part they are in seems more like Factoria to me. At any rate, we talked for a while about HTC because I have owned four HTC phones and absolutely love the physical builds of their phones. Then of course I had to ask about the Incredible. He wouldn't give me any specs other than it's Snapdragon(duh) and that it was blazingly fast and responsive. I asked why there was no release yet was there a problem on their end that he was aware of? He said that they are done with the phone as far as he knows and waiting on Verizon for the release.

Before any of you break out the flame throwers, I know this is nothing new or anything. I'm just telling my odd coincidence of a story.

And for all you haters I took a pic, not of the guy(because that would be weird and stalker like), but of the office building sign.

Thanks for hearing me out and hopefully when I get back from Anaheim later this month I'll be coming back to a FedEx Incredible delivery! :D

1) Please be specific to tell the 16 other posters what it is you don't want them to do or if they are veterans warn/ban them. The post is to general.

2) Don't shut it down. The phone's coming out soon and we'll be shut down and probably disbanded soon enough. Thanks TS.

Thank you for the clarifying that. I was trying to catch up with everything so wasn't sure what was going on.
 
I HATE when MM DOES THIS...
I need to sleep, but his suspenseful post is keeping me awake... WHYYY

OK Got it ... ty.. makes sense. I hate the flaming too.
 
What apps do you guys plan on putting on your new incredible when it comes out.
I have a ton but the short list.
