If you remember a few years back they launched 4 phones at once. That skinny samsung *hit, the voyager, and 2 others, so yeah a super launch would do. It would hold them over until fall as well, when they will have more big things planned

Yes, it's able to use GPS even without cellular signal.

Edit to add: You will get a GPS signal, but you still need the cellular connection to download the map images (if using Google Maps for instance).

Okay. But what it's NOT able to do without a signal is download real-time radar images. FAIL. :D

EDIT: LOL, I see you caught that about the same time I was posting.

Oh wow if this teaser is for an iPad, I'm sure a lot of Verizon management will be getting death threats... :mad:

And a lot of us on here will be getting arrested for those threats :p

BUT I feel like this HAS to be the Incredible. We've waited long enough and all the signs seem to point to it. :)
 
So I am in an area that is having the limited promo that allows dumbphone users to get an early upgrade to any smartphone. I HEARD that promo ends on either 4/30 or 5/1. Either way, if the Inc comes out this month, and I sure as heck hope it does per all the above banter, it will be my phone of choice. If they claim I can't do it, I will use one of my other lines that has been up for renewal since Nov 2007. I've got 2 Corp stores and 2 Agent stores within a few miles of me, so I am going to be doing some serious calling. Thanks to all those who've posted golden nuggets!!!

P.S. I am not a huge pre-release forum fan, but do all phones get this much hype before they come out!?!??!

And for the hundredth time it is NOT a blackberry if it was blackberry i would say blackberry or RIM

Do you mean that the droid & droid eris HAD these prefixes before released (and were labeled under their normal model names)?

So, having an app like Weather Bug would still only give me local radar if I had a cell signal? That is a bummer..:mad:
