h0lby, et al.: please remember that there is a fundamental difference between a product's announce date and the same product's release date. They are generally separated by several weeks, if not months. Obviously, certain industries, manufacturers, resellers, and/or individual do take liberties with this basic rule of thumb. Does the phrase "anticipation for the _____ builds" ring a bell? I'm not talking about places like our own wonky little forum here.

The general public, I mean absolutely everyone I have spoken to is completely oblivious as to details of this Incredible. I mean that --nobody knows what I am talking about when I mention this phone, not even my two Droid-owning friends.

Despite our 1,513,196 forum views to date, we are still in our own very small bubble. And you know what, I like this place most of the time.

Given that most of us have at least called, if not gone into a store already, I gotta say - - at least for most of us? too late!!!

Should have seen the poor guy yesterday. He looked downright scared when I cornered him.

Sure, I'm 6'4 325, but you know, whatever. .. I think the foaming at the mouth and the fact that I had picked him up by his shirt had something to do with it.

Just in case there's still any confusion if Best Buy honors the NewEvery 2, I just called Best Buy and the salesman with my phone number and password was able to look up my account and see my NE2 stauts and said it was fine I can buy there

I asked if I would also get the $30 credit and he said no because they are usually cheaper on their phones the Verizon is anyway.

While true I don't think the span will that be that great of time. The Droid was officially announced a week before it launched. Judging by Dingleberry's inventory leaks and researching similar leaks (see pic for example. Storm 2 launched the 28th or 29th) in the past I'd say the 29th is a good day to expect launch.

I think all of us that plan to do physical damage to our phones once we get our Incredible should video it and have a forum devoted to nothing but those videos :)

I've been trying to think of what that means.

If its 6 devices (which I highly doubt), what would they be?
1. Pink Phone1
2. Pink Phone2
3. Incredible
4. Nexus 1
5. ?
6. ?

I think it has to do with some internal naming of the device.
 
Steven58 I'm worried about your working out.. You're getting plenty of L-Glutamine for recovery and plenty of protein for building muscle right? I don't want to see you hitting and plateaus :p :D

Since the rest of the picture seems to refer to people here, maybe it is because some of you have been waiting for the phone for six months?
