I'm definitely not an expert in wireless standards, but look at this link:

If you move your cursor over the different standards, it lists ul/dl speeds and other fun facts. IMHO, based on this link, LTE FTW.

yea already posted that. By 2013 they say there LTE coverage should be what there 3g coverage is now. To me that would be bad azz.

Since the world ends late 2012 they should save a bundle. Of course the iphone will become a more open platform and AT&T will have open android phones. This shall be a sign of the apocalypse.

I'm still convinced that Droid will be incorporated into its name somehow. I can't imagine the amount of money that VZW has and still invests into the Droid's marketing campaign. I know the recent ads have been geared more towards apps, but the trademark "Droid" sound is still at the beginning of the ads.

Yep, have to agree with that. They've invested heavily in the Droid brand, and its almost a given that the Inc will release with a Droid [aaaaa] name format.

So long as we get the phone, they can call it what they like.
