Root noob! has anyone figured out how to root, cwm the design with linux?

i cant find anything and id love this phone if i could put a custom mod on it instead of the unnecessary htc sense

There is a nice guide for rooting your phone and installing CWM available here. Try visiting the "All Things Root" subsection and checking the stickies and popular threads for more ROMs.

I couldn't find anything. I had to flash to windows. Wine was not working for me.
