I thought people were thinking the device had 8gb of media storage, but when I noticed they were saying rom space for apps- then it kind of got comical.

8gb "rom" was never correct, but I am pi55ed that the Incredible does not fave Flash Lite- just as the Desire ships with. No way it is in the Incredible, since the PDF does not show Adobe on the copyright page at the beginning of the manual.

Mega-lame.
Again, you keep complaining about Flash-lite where does it say that it doesn't have it on the Incredible? it's on the Droid Eris so why wouldn't it be on the Incredible? Just because it's not mentioned in the manual doesn't mean it doesn't have it.

that doesnt tell you what class the cards are. if this thing will be able to shoot 720p vid later i think you might need a relatively high class to be able to shoot properly. secondly i never heard of that company so i dont know what the quality of the cards themselves are like.

Microcenter has a lot of off off brands as well as name brands so my thinking is you get what you pay for

I hope your perspective is correct! :) Too used to our Euro friends getting better features.

11:29AM Wow. Just wow.

11:29AM Ryan Block from GDGT: What about running unsigned apps? Steve: You know, there's a porn store for Android. Anyone can download them. You can, your kids can. That's just not a place we want to go.

OUCH... Steve being an ass...

That is unless the intern that put the manual together and "goofed" on the rom size also forgot to mention Flash ;)

Mega-lame.

How can the Incredible not have Flash lite? Didn't the Eris have that?

It is mentioned in the Eris manual but not the Incredible manual but who's to say that this is the finalized manual for the Incredible? And since Flash 10.1 is coming to the Nexus One and I believe HTC has said the Desire would be getting it too I'm sure the Incredible will get it too which will be better than Flash lite anyhow :)

Wowsers... I've never read this much in my life! First this thread, now the UG.
Once this is all over, I think I'll have reached my reading quota till I'm Steven's age.
What's that again? 83?:p;)

okay newbie question but I was under the impression that 2.1 will support flash 10.1 if that is so there would be no need for flash light correct ( or am I just talking out of my ----)

Why shouldn't the phone be called the Incredible.. it sets the trend of every single phone out there today..right? There's nothing greater!

Yes they do, but there are TONS of ways around that. I have it for free on my Dare. Have had it for a while now.

On a side note, hope you have requested your Google Voice One Number, it won't be an issue anymore when you have that.

I have requested it, but have not received a response. Anybody happen to have an invite to spare :D

Oh wait, I should wait til' the Inc drops.

If you look at the video playback, it can playback mp4 formats. mp4 formats have been used for higher resolution videos before. This is a big hint that we're getting 720p recording. Not bad.

You contradicted yourself. "PLAYBACK" can be in mp4, but recording is only listed in .3gp format. Sorry, don't see 720p recordings as a possibility.

Support yes, but android 2.1 does not come with Flash 10.1 by default. We're still waiting for Flash 10.1 to make it to Android as far as I know.

I just checked the Eris manual too and the copyright is mentioned, but not in the Incredible's. This suggests that Incredible does not have Flash Lite.

Yes, Flash 10.1 rocks, due to GPU support for video, but Flash Lite 3.1 (on Eris and Desire) would rock- just like on Desire. I have full Flash 9.4 on my N900, so got used to it for browsing, video and games. Dumping Tmo though, since the coverage sux bad.

Catch for Flash 10.1, it is not planned for release to public until late summer (September most likely).

I have it (thanks to a member of this forum) but have never been able to figure out where my invites are- If someone can tell me how to find these I will put them up for grabs.
