No..................................................................;)

That was you at CTIA in Vegas sitting with the Verizon execs with the phone in your hand wasn't it....

How'd you swing it, get them in a poker game and raise the stakes till they threw in the phone?

Good work ;)

I could be wrong, but i sense absolutely no interest in that. In fact, I sense the opposite.

If the Incredible has Flash 4.0, you may be correct.

Hey, this source about Flash Lite 4.0 on Incredible is not the same one that told you there was 8gb of "rom" space, was it? Joking, since I think you meant media storage space and not "rom" space for apps ;)

Was it the same source  ;)

Heeeey... are YOU the source? If you have the Incredible, how is the opti pad for playing the game emulators? :) ;)

I'm not going to say anything about the source but i can write what some other documentation states...

Verbatim:
"8 GB internal memory"

I also have other sources that prove that the phone will ship with:
Battery Door, Product Safety & Warranty Guide, Standar Battery, Getting Started Guide, RF Brochure, Wall/USB Charger

Note: no card mentioned

Also says "Removable Memory - MicroSD (up to 32 GB)" but does not say the phone will come with any card.

Soooo.....in my opinion (read: my 2 cents, likely all its worth)...has 8 GB internal memory, microSD card slot that will take up to 32 GB, no card included with phone.

I'm not sure how other people feel about that, but i have like a dozen "3-in-1" little kits around the house from newegg that are like 4-16 GB or micro, mini, and standard SD used for various other phones, cameras, etc... including the 16GB one in my Droid, so i personally couldn't care less if a card ships with it. They're very cheap...just buy an 8 or 16 now for next to nothing, and in 6-9 months buy a 32 one for the same price...no biggie. Christ, even my digital camera now takes an SDXC card so i'm sure my next phone will have a 2 TB card.

UG specifically says "microSD card (sold separately)"

I have some questions about what memory card I should get from my wife and I when we get out hands on two of these beasts. If any of you feel knowledgeable and are willing to be a guide please PM me. I don't want to clog the forum

Yeah, i was that guy who didn't get the "wear suits" memo...remember him?

Haha I do!

But hey, one way to keep everyone from noticing you're the only one wearing blue jeans is having some eye candy in your hand to draw their attention.

Look back a couple of pages, this is a common issue. You need to upgrade Adobe reader to the latest version. :)

for the 100th time it's not an adobe issue.

If you try to save the file to your disk drive it stops at 2mb and it's a 10mb file.

You will have to get it off an external site other then here.

wouldn't desire roms not work with incredible? gsm vs. cdma?

I know with my omnia - it took a long time for cooked roms b/c verizon was the only cdma version of phone.

Too many questions my friend...all in due time. Trust me, this thread will be first to know every little detail as various sources validate it and confirm...but it's in all our interest to protect those sources as there will be life (and other phones) after the Incredible and these folks are not "one and done". So in the interest of cultivating relationships and trust over the long term, everything that can be said so far has been said...stay tuned for more.

Hey all! I am a long time lurker, first time poster here. I just bought the droid on 4/2 after waiting for weeks on any official news on either the Nexus One or the Incredible. But alas, weeks went by, including CTIA, and still no word so I gave in and bought the Droid.

I saw all of the recent news about the supposed date of either the 25th or 29th on the Incredible release. I understand where the 29th date comes from (Best Buy internal doc), but where is everybody getting the 25th? I tried to go through the thread, but it is amazing how many posts are made in a 24 hour period!

Also, if I bought the Droid on 4/2, what is the exact last day that I can return it with the 30 day return period? Would it be the 5/1 or 5/2?

Thanks again everyone! Can't wait for this phone!!!

Thanks to NKT, Anonimac, Steven58, Montana and all the other worthy contributors. Thanks for guaranteeing that the next 2+ weeks will be among the least productive of my entire life. Before the UG was provided today, I was able to resign myself to checking in periodically so make sure the end-of-month release date was intact. And could I leave it at that? Noooooooo. Now, with the UG, I have to check in every 15 minutes to go over the three new pages that have been posted since my last check, jot down the occasional hint (this will be my first smartphone, and my anticipation has built to roughly that of a 16 yr. old virgin on prom night). And I have to digest the entire UG by the time I get my phone so I can hit the ground running.

On the upside, if I get canned for not getting any work done, I'll have more time with this present from heaven.

This is what my VZW rep is going to look like to me when I go in to get this bad boy:
