wow. good things today. counting down the days. well im off to work. later guys. have an INCREDIBLE day...see what i did there. :)

You are correct (IS's are different as they have a texture to them). You can by the similar stuff on ebay but the sheet, but you need to cut it. I have tried it with multple tools (xacto knife, sharp cutting board etc) and it just won't cut properly. I am assuming they cut the patterns with a machine of some sort.

Does this mean we don't have to wait for verizon to release the updates?

Thank you. Not to be out of sync with some of the folks here. I think it's photoshopped. Note the "Phandroid" on the pages. I don't think Verizon would have such images. ;)

You could be right. Since I wasted mine due to a faulty phone, I bought some cheap static ones to tide me over. I got a 5-pak for $4 on ebay. They are reuseable, but not very durable. Essentially the same thing that comes on a new phone. The Invisible Gadget Guard was awesome...about $15 for a whole phone cover.

So I didn't go to the store with the guide yet, but after my call I don't see the point. Those sons-of-guns are a tight-lipped bunch. I called the store in Chicago at 36 S. State and spoke with Tammy:

Me: Hello, I'm waiting for the HTC Incredible to come out to upgrade and wanted to see if you can tell me when it will be available in your store.

Tammy: We don't have any information about that device.

Me: I am holding a User Guide in my hand, and you don't have any information about the device? Have you heard of it?

Tammy: We don't have anything specific about that device and we have no information about a release date.

Me: When do you typically get information about the release date for a new device?

Tammy: Usually a couple weeks ahead of time.

Me: And you have nothing on the Incredible?

Tammy: No, sir.

The way she was talking was almost stoic. No attempt to get me to consider something else, and her demeanor was very "company line." It really sounded like she was told in no uncertain terms to play dumb until VZW gives the official, public go-ahead. Me mentioning the UG didn't seem to make any more difference than telling her what I had for breakfast. No surprise, no curiosity, no attempt to engage or sell or nothin'. I wonder if VZW threatens to cut off a finger or something if confidentiality is breached.

They probably won'y have any major accessories ready when they release the phone, but if they were smart they would. I imagine accessories are mostly all profit because they are all made of cheap components and are probably sold for a 400% markup. They could make tons of money just on cases and docks alone.
 
Steven, can you post a pic of what Anon just put up? I'm at work and can't get adobe on my station without admin password... please pretty please, I promise I won't make fun of your age for at least 10 minutes or so ;)
 
Yes, I'd also be interested in what cases/screen protectors everyone is going to get.
Also....VISUAL VOICEMAIL capable on top of it all? I think I just wet myself....

Can't wait!!!! W00T!!!
 
i cant believe its almost here!! this phone is going to kick @ss!!!!!!! amazing that this user guide is out but the vzw reps still dont know about it

I think you are all a bit too paranoid from all these posts! I'll bet you my Incredible that these most of these reps truly have no clue when they say they have no idea what it is. Do you really think VZW is going to give the front line folks information like that and expect it to stay within company walls?? NOT
