Does anyone know whether or not you'll be able to turn off sense on the incredible? Personally, I like the Nexus One's software look better.

Yes, you can turn off Sense UI. You will still have access to all the HTC apps and Widgets.

Hello Everyone,

I have been lurking here for a while reading up on the HTC Incredible Phone back when it was still considered the Passion. I noticed that everyone is having problems downloading the Manual that was posted today. (it took me 2 hrs and around 24 tries until I got everything downloaded)

I am attaching a bittorrent file in a zip that might help speed things up for people trying to download. Just make sure to keep seeding and things should go quick.

so i went to engadget to see if i can get a quick check on any possible updates on the incredible so i wouldnt have to scan through here. all i could see on their home page is 11 out of 19 "news updates" pertaining to apple, one of them actually devoted to steve jobs making a statement about stylus' and task managers on phones being failures. is anyone else as tired of engadget's apple fanboyism as i am?

I think if nothing of it has been mentioned yet, I don't see it happening, and since it isn't a common phone feature, I wouldn't think it would just be overlooked.

I can't wait until we can see some pics of the phone. Also, it would be nice to know the bit depth of the screen supported by the phone. From what I heard, the N1 has some screen quality issues because the screen only has an 18 bit depth opposed to the 24 bit of other phones. Whatever the case, I am definitely buying this phone!

Is Verizon going to drop their plan prices? Why does Cell Phones, Cell Phone Plans, 3G Smartphones, the Best Cell Phone Service - Verizon Wireless show unlimited plans for $39 individual and $69 family (2 lines)?
Its not like a simple typo. The prices are listed in images. Someone had to specifically create them with the description and price as if it was big news.

For an individual it states $39 UNLIMITED

I was hoping someone would know how Verizon works and if posting this on testman means the lower prices are coming.

This was an incorrectly priced add. This doesn't exist and there are no plans for this pricing at the moment.

In the UG I read that it's eligible for a $350 ETF discount, and if the $600 rumored without a contract price is true, that brings it to $250, and VZW could throw in a rebate as they have historically.

I believe I remember the guide specifying that the radio would only work with headphones.
