Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Senseless

oh dang, I got my htc evo v 4g today, and I got s-off and odex/rooted and noticed you pulled rom, so just waiting on you lol if i like your rom ill donate for your work :)
 
Finally a ROM using my favorite kernel! Been waiting... Lol. MidnightS is my favorite ROM, but I'm currently testing mobster HD. I'll flash this tomorrow and be happy!
 
I'm thinking MAC isn't compatible with Eng HBoot 1.04. MidnightS 1.09 bootlooped. Also tried Unlocked Potential, with MAC kernel, and more bootloops.
 
I am stuck in a boot loop with 1.09. Tried installing a couple of times from 4EXT recovery. Wiped everything each time. Could this be a compatibility problem with HBoot 1.04? I am really excited to try this out, once I figure out what's up with my phone!
 
Yes, this new version isn't compatible with 1.04.
There should really be a warning in the OP...

I have used the current Mac kernal with 1.07 and others including monsters HD lite right now. I am on hboot 1.4 or whatever and have had zero problems. Do I need to upgrade my hboot before flashing 1.09?

Also dak, any chance you can talk to mobstergunz and see if you can use his new HD audio mods?

Just did my very first installing of this, using the latest ROM in the op and the reccomended HBOOT. Everything seems to be fine except my Wifi icon in the status bar doesn't display any and all signal strength. Wifi works, I'm connected to my home network; just not getting any feedback on how excellent the connection is. Any tips on what to do here?

EDIT A reboot without fastboot checked fixed this..I feel silly! >o<
 
I had the same bootloop issues when I first updated to 1.09. With some help from a friend I updated HBoot, and then did a full wipe and reinstall of the latest 1.09 version and everything went perfect. This new version seems to work better than the previous version, and couldn't be happier with it . Thanks xthedakmanx!!

Everything back to normal now and Mac kernel built in? Just want to check before I download. Also I do want to thank you for all the hard work. This is the best working ROM out for the 3d. I have tried all the others and when they have updates but none last more then 3 hours before I Jones for a perfectly working ROM.
