I have a DROID I never use the keyboard and am looking at this phone... you mentioned the Nexus one and said you're getting this one. Why, how is it bter than the N1? THX!

There is NO way VZW will let you tether for free, no matter the phone's capabilities.. just not happening..
 
what's up. I just got the droid last weekend hoping for the buy one get one deal but it had just ended. Then the date of the incredible release comes out. I have decided I want to return my droid and get the incredible. does anyone know if it costs any extra money for me to exchange it for the new phone?
also I've noticed how everyone talks about best buy releasing the phone as much as talking about verizon itself selling it. why is this? is it somehow cheaper to buy at best buy? thanks

Since Flash is apparently on the Incredible and no copyright for Adobe and perhaps 8gb built-in omitted from the manual. Maybe this could be a screw-up too. Sheesh- maybe the manual really was put together by interns.....

This is all awesome news. THANKS

the pdf UG and the equipment guide. can't wait for the 25th or 29th .... There was an overblown apple event today and another event next week. who else is interested in the Microsoft event on the 12th?..... (crickets) ....anyone?.....
 
Commodore 64 rocks! Nice emu app on Android, BTW. A good Amiga one too :)

A reason to doubt buying this device, since keyboard is more practical for controls for all emulators. :(

Consider for a moment that they know what their corporate chain tells them, WHEN they tell them. They aren't checking forums 25 times a day for the latest phone rumor or memorizing spec sheets on the 40 phones they carry. They have jobs and they do what their employer requires.

Given this phone is 2+ weeks out (and that still is unproven) - show a little tolerance for others and a recognition that everyone in this world doesn't know what you know - or think like you think.

Bwahaa -sorry I offended your delicate sensibility! Jeez. Did you even read what I wrote? The manager of the store said definitively that the HTC Incredible is never coming out on Verizon. He didn't say he didn't have any info - he said he knew for a fact that its not coming to Verizon. Yes, this could be true, but I choose to believe the other info I've seen.

I get that the staff at the stores don't have the info, and that they can only say what they are 'allowed' to say, that's not the point at all...

And if you actually read my post you'd see I didn't call anyone a liar - I simply said I can't believe they'd lie...
