I am pretty sure that there is NO tethering plan for Android Phones at Verizon. In any case try PDANet.
 
Im really disappointed the USB is on the side. Its annoying trying to use ur phone will the USB sticking out. Looks like there is gonna be no docks for it
 
Testman is down. LOL even though it seems like testman isn't of much importance, thought i'd let you guys know

What the heck is everyone's problem with the USB position. Do you not realize that the Motorola Droid has USB on the side? And it has a dock?! :mad:

I went to one of the Verizon stores today where there was an over abundance of employees for once, all kind of standing around. I mentioned the Incredible, and it turned into the Spanish Inquisition; short of taking me in the back room and flogging me, they were like "Where did you hear about this, what is the side, where is your hidden base" in short all I was told was to sign up online for updates and I'll get a text when new devices are available and that the website might have it before Best Buy. I was allowed to go free, but I get the feeling I should call my Captain for a security debrief...

This could be way old news and already been covered as I am playing the nightly game of "catch up" and am at least 15 pages behind. That little disclaimer out of the way.... The memory in this link is SDHC and not MicroSDHC which I believe is what the Incredible takes. I have seen the MicroSDHC 32 gig out there for sale somewhere but it is only Class 2 (S L O W). I'll be going for either a Class 6 or if I feel really spendy (I'm in a great mood to splurge on this setup) a Kingston Class 10 MicroSDHC 16 gig card. The Class 6's are $40ish and the Class 10 is $109. I personally don't want to slow down this phone with a crap slow card.

Maybe if we bug these guys they'll make a stand for the Incredible as well ... Chances are this exact same stand for the Droid will work with the Incredible if it uses magnets as well...

Sadly, even though I *know* testman being down will likely never mean anything, I still always think "Well maybe *this time* it will be different!" and go check it. :o

Wouldn't the side with the USB become the bottom so it would be easier to have the cord hang down? I am not understanding why a dock is out of the question!?

There will most likely be docks.
verizon is dying to sell everyone vz nav, unless they expect me to duct tape the phone to the dash, they will come up with docks

Lol i think that ALLLL the time.. Thats why i check it so often. But did you notice the new layout for testman before? I could only get that new layout if i logged into my account on the regular vzw site then tried opening testman. That was actually the only way i could see the new ads too on testman

VZ Navigator is not available on Verizon Android phones- they have Google Maps, and the DROID has Navigation.

Not that that is 100 percent accurate... but still. Why would they mention the Android Market if it wasn't coming? Maybe that's part of the delay?

The point of the post was the dock, not whatever product verizon, google is selling for a nav program.
GPS = a way to afix it to the car other than glue, tape, velro, etc.
does anyone really think verizon or third party vendors are going the chance to market every piece of crap they can for this or any other phone.:rolleyes:
