That's just the resolution for the digital camera. The little 2" screens on 15MP DSLR's don't display the full resolution image, but a sized image. If you take a full resolution picture with the 8MP camera on the Incredible, you'll be able to pinch to zoom in to get the detail that isn't shown when it's sized down.

I hear ya.

I like to use 'em for the details I get like, it does this when I push this button and the screen jumps quick to this when I tap this part of the screen...practical things that I cant do myself without having one in hand.
Seeing it actually get used. :)

If indeed the device launches earlier in corp stores than at agents like BB, I would place my money on Thursday the 22nd. VZW likes to release & launch on Thursdays.

I think at this point people would just like some kind of official notice from big red that its coming. But I see where they are coming from. If they tell people now about the Incredible, the in store reps can't dupe people into buying an Eris or Moto Droid; and get em' for an additional $35 when they return it.
 
So, first post, long time lurker. I didn't join to talk about some silly phone ;), no I actually joined because I saw that it is MM's birthday today. So Happy Birthday Montana Man, thanks for all that you do in the entertainment business (well ours anyway) :).

Ok, enough with the OT, it's hard not to want such a beast of a great phone. Very anxiously waiting for the darned thing to appear. This phone has been harder to catch than a taxi in Amboy, CA :rolleyes:

Let's get a good look at the darn thing, I mean what the heck, the cat is so far out of the bag. Pics, vids, whatever.

Depends on which one is in question...some were done by members here, but a few of the ones i posted (like the red with the android sticker or whatever) weren't user renders per se, but rather protoype/test unit renders.

That is for camera resolution, not screen resolution...

I would completely disregard that source...regurgitation of old news, talks about downclocking, etc...trust me, if you need news, this is the place to come for it.

Pretty cool, looks like there are a few of us! I love me some PH Stuffed Crust pizza! :D I've actually never eaten at the LC store, I'm a little further up 23 so, factoring in traffic, it's faster to go to the one in Delaware. I graduated with the girl who manages the Sunbury store; are you familiar with that one at all?

Also, having it actually on board could explain why the microsd slot was moved to the side and all the others are where the battery is.

I would expect to be able to store applications on the 8GB internal storage. I have some sources (still vetting this which is why i haven't made some big deal announcement) that claim this to be one of the bigger deals of this phone...Incredible's "game changer" if you will. Again, not yet confirmed enough for me to feel comfortable putting it on the spec page or making a big announcement, but i'm working on it.

Please stop cluttering the thread, it's already hard enough to read through this info and than having to scroll up after you take 2 minutes to respond to a post because 17 other posts have come through.

 
This should be a great phone and one of the few I would order without even seeing it. The dimension specs are so similar to an Eris that it should be a no brainer. The phone specs themselves are.........incredible!
Now bring on the accessories, I have to have a holster/case as I am not a pocket guy.
