Root CM10 Development (moved to upp)

well atm, I cloned git://github.com/superr/warp2_device_tree.git, cp the dirs to where they needed to be, edited out the product_copy for the kernel, and now its compiling. Granted a ton of stuff needs added to the device.mk, etc, etc, etc. ;)


NOTE: it failed about 2/3 of the way while trying to compile the ZTERIL.

we had that problem too until we changed the name of the ril files to ZTEQualcommRIL.java and ZTEQualcommUiccRIL.java. May be worth a shot :)
 
wait... im not sure if thats the right zte ril... did you replace that superr? i know originally we had a non working one. and we got a build but we have no idea what needs to be added to what, thats why we were trying to find a working warp1 tree so we could use it for reference ya kno. im just learning this stuff, a month ago i had never even attempted this stuff
 
yea those are the wrong ril files... we need the ones that worked for you superr, theyre here somewhere... damn 9 pages lol

And hroark13 did the leg work on the warps CM10, I just cleaned the code and formatting up lol.
 
the ones i posted should work, they made a successful build for us, the problem is we are missing too much stuff for it to actually do anything
 
yea i know he did alot of hard work on that, we just cant for the life of us find a way to make his tree build anything. even as is. if we modify it to match our settings tho im quite sure it will function perfectly for us, only difference between our phone and the warp one hardware wise is the screen as far as i know, well and the partition layout
 
it happens, i dont even know how to make a github account so youre a step ahead of me lmao. we are really sad excuses for developers, sorry playfulgod lol. we are getting there tho. we made cwm work thats a start

Excellent work! If you care to upload I am sure you will have plenty of testers :) If not, once you push to git I can build and upload for testers. Thank you for coming to help us...we were drowning :(

uploading to my goo dev acct now if you wanna check for it in about 5 minutes. I will post a link after supper along with push to github. ;)
 
for real, you are our savior, now if we can just recreate a build with your source we might be able to get it done without having to bother you :D. im sure i can manage to get it booted, we just couldnt get it built... and i dont even have the means to build so im trying to sit here and debug superrs build issues lol
 
@PlayfulGod to clarify, the device tree you are uploading now is for cm10, right?
