Root [How to] fix audio playback skipping

I figured out how to fix audio play back but it comes at a price eventually...

Download power amp music player from the play store.

Open it and go to settings->audio->advanced tweaks

Now we set audio buffer size to 750
Then set audio thread priority to +1.


I have been using this for a hot second and it doesn't skip at all. Hope this helps as a temporary solution.

Yes, but PG is only one person he can only do so much without an actual device but if you ask me building AOSP anything from source on a device you don't have is one hell of a statement.
