Root [DEAD][ROM] CTMod Admire - updated 4/14/2013

Have you tried downloading the Kernel Source for the Admire and compiling that? Does the Admire have full working source? I know Hroark used the Admire source to patch the Prevail source code, but I don't know exactly how he accomplished this.

Yup, we have working stock ROM source and stock kernel source...

But None of us here know what to do to the source to add all that special stuff like swap, ext4, over clock, ect, etc...

I would like to think that its all there... And now that I'm thinking, I don't think any of our roms are from source... I think Req made 900Mhz kernel from source... I'm starting to doubt everything I know now :p
 
If you have a overclock kernel available, then I would say it's a safe bet that you have fully working source code. I will dive deeper into it in the a.m. I gotta hit the hay.

Did'nt Req give out the source of cm7... it uses his OC'd kernel... check in his git hub
 
So, just to be safe, is it confirmed that most everything in the OP is correct about what works and what doesn't? I would like to try this out later on :)
 
I was able to get MMS working on this rom by slightly (very) modifying Spz0's mms fix for OA . Try it out.

Flash via CWM, install apn backup and restore from playstore, open it, and restore the metropcs apn

Great, it's not as nice as the all black mms that came with it by default but it still goes nice with the theme, and it works. MMS is all I needed to complete this rom :-)

First off GREAT from,very good work!!the one thing I've noticed so far is that the notifications volume is super low almost unhearable other than that everything else is working great have only been running it for a few minutes but very nice job sir :)

I think the proximity sensor has some issues. When I pull the phone away from my face, I have to push a button to light up the screen to end the call, unless the person I was talking to happens to hang up before I do, lol

No I just looked at your rom and saw what was wrong with my updater script. But i was thinking of using your's as a base... But no i saw the updater script used some OA files so I copied the sdcard folder. You don't mind right? I should probably be more worried about spz0.
 
Is there a fix for mms yet?and still loving this rom cogra runs smooth u fix the few little bugs and it will be amongst the best

yes the mms fix is in the original post, flash it, download apn back up and restore from the play store, open it and choose the metropcs apn
