Lg Motion Is 49 Dollars and New plans are on the website

Love this phone...whats the stipulation of it being so cheap? Do you have to get a certain plan or be a new customer or something?
 
Just bought 2! Now hopefully I can sell my Esteem for $100 and break even...

I'm gonna miss changing themes every other week though :D

Well cm10 development is going good, data isn't working yet but calling is and it runs real nice and smooth. Plus with cm10 you can download themes for the theme engine and change them. :thumbup:

I also made a remention on Metros FB page today of my 1st attempt at activation the day before I bought my phone at the Metro store (after returning the Best Buy phone). Metro had already said that initial Sim card mismatch issue was their problem.

I mentioned today that IF Metro had Just Been Able to Activate that phone during my 4 hrs trying, *I'd still have that BB phone NOW!* and could return it to them for a full refund Then get the mobetta Metro Motion deal.

I just got off the phone with Dallas. They made things right in my book. Not the full monty with rebate amounts but they did just fine.

Good job Metro. It's appreciated.

Themes not working on Motion?? Please :rolleyes:, there is now a 2nd init recovery (meaning kernels can't be flashed), that can flash TROMs (Themed ROMs) and themes, and everything else in this thread:

We just need someone to make a bunch of themes for ICS now :p or try ones already made.

that would be a horrible idea, framework-res.apk has so much stuff that is made for the device in question, replacing that as well as sysetmui.apk with another devices will cause issues. people making themes for that device are in the clear though :)

Agreed. Cant just swap out the framework and systemUI. Boot loop like a mofo. :D
 
im thinking bout going and picking one up. not putting service on it or nothing (i like my esteem :)) butjust to play around with. its a nice little device. kinda envious of it looking at my esteem but then i remember my screen size :p
 
3 months after you're application is verified. The 2 times I got rebates it took about 5 months.
 
Why the drop ? I paid $150 for my Motion. Is a new model being released soon ? If one already has a Motion on MetroPCS, can one buy a spare for $50 net cost ? Or does the phone need to be activated to get the lower price ?

To get the $50 MIR you have to be activated. So without activation its $100
