Yes, system update. The phone is rooted, but no cwm... Pm me if you want more info. I need the help of you guys in this freakin awesome forum.

Just download autostarts from store and then open an wait till fully loaded, then go to after startup, then go to google services framework and click on the one that says systemupdateservice$receiver and click disable and all set!

Ok then check your cache because you will have to delete it there too, to regain however much space it takes up on your memory!

Wait, how do you not have a custom recovery if you're rooted? The only working root method would put CWM on the device...

NO! you can be rooted without the recovery!
How? Unless it was with one of the one click methods that no longer work

You just use 1 of the odin stock, there are ones that are stock and there are ones that are stock with CWM. Plus you can flash the stock recovery right now when you're on a rooted phone. All in all it can be done but I don't know why somebody would want it that way.

odin will do that. I just did it to a samsung precedent today for the second time. It still has the stock recovery and not cwm. I want cwm. Does anyone know how to do that
All I know is that I held the vol up and the power button and it was the stack recovery and that was after I rooted the phone. It was stock recovery though
