Hey guys! So, if the Incredible does end up cheaper online than in store I will buy it online. Question: Do you trust the delivery truck to safely deliver it? I would be heartbroken if they deliver it to my front door, and when I open it the screen of my brand new Incredible is crackedI can only imagine that truck speeding along and going full speed over potholes. What do you guys think?
How do you think it gets from some sweat factory in china to the store? Same applies to TVs...people are hesitant to buy their plasma online as if buying it at Best Buy means it didn't get there by truck. When you buy online the phone takes the same number of truck trips as in the store...some phone are trucked to the store and some to your house. I can honestly say i've had just about everything in the last 10 years delivered online and never had a significant issue.

From what I've been reading for VZ its looking for a 22-26th release, and Best Buy is essesntially completely confirmed for a 29th release.

Great point. And the box is insulated, so that is practically impossible. I'll buy you a new Incredible if one gets broken.
Will that program eliminate the need to look at your phone and tap a contact when voice dialing? On the Eris, you can speak "Call so and so" but then a list pops up on the screen of possible contacts and you have to tap one. Does this program get around that? If so, that's great!

This has been debated all along, but with the User Manual, Equipment Guide, and Best Buy saying the same name, it's hard to imagine it would change at this point.

What part is exactly "kind of a fail" exactly?
So I am back and not so hammered anymore, just feel like cr@p. So what I found out was that it is going to be April 29th for Verizon release. I think he was saying that training will be a week before release. I wasn't able to find anything about Best Buy and when their date is for release. All he could tell me was that he is 100% sure about the 29th for Verizon Corp stores and online.

I think you worry way too much.
How do you think it gets to to the store? Or all the way from God knows where China to the warehouses? These things are packaged for shipment.
50 is the price of the extended battery, right? Also, does it come with a wider back or something?

Thanks for the reply viperboy. I have seen that app described at AppBrain. It does appear however that it requires touching the screen and using phone's mic/speaker to initiate and then switch to the bluetooth. From their description "Unlike Droid's Voice Dialer, VDHF talks with you! It uses the phone's speakerphone/mic until a call is made (and can then switch to Bluetooth)."
This precludes true hands free and absolutely precludes dialing with phone in holster.
Anyone else have any solutions you have encountered for similar problem on virtually all other Android phones (except the one I mentioned earlier)?
OMG, I was just at Radio Shack and saw the HD2. Granted it was a dummy phone, but it was beautiful! I did see it working on YouTube.com and liked what I saw. If it was coming to VZ, I would seriously consider it, even though it is WM. ...................

No. The User Guide says HTC Incredible. Why would they bother making a different version with a new name? It's going to be the HTC Incredible.

Darn it, I was hoping it would be available before my birthday on the 27th. But if there will be in-store inventory before that date... I'll see what strings I can pull

Nah, I'm good. It has several things against it. They are:
1) it is Wm. 6.5
2) Screen is not Amoled
3) It is on T-Mobile. I need VZ because I run my business off the cellphone and need 100% coverage.
So don't worry about me.
I am going to go to 4.3" in the future sometime, though.
