Root Guess what I'm flashing ;) (DO NOT TRY!!!)

Worth while attempt, good to know everything's back in order. :3 if we ever get any of the lg bootloaders unlocked could we do the reverse? If so ive got a couple of experiments lined up

I don't think so...the command to reboot the phone into download mode is universal on LG phones and qpst uses the command LG uses...I'm not sure what command is sent..
I am NOT gonna try to flash anything with qpst, besides PRLs

So what you're saying sounds like you used QPST to basically force something like an adb reboot? I think I'm missing something here. Let's take this step by step-
1) Flash spirit firmware
2) Boot into garbage
3) Power off
4) Try to get into emode and fail
5) Boot into garbage, and use QPST to reboot into emode?
6) Successfully flash Motion firmware?

It's parts 5 and 6 there that I'm not clear on. Something doesn't seem right there.

I Had to replace my phone..
 
Are you using Qualcomm's qpst? If so, how did you force it to boot into emode? I just downloaded it, and can't find anything for that.

Which version of QPST did you download? I'm downloading everything now in case I ever need to unbrick my spirit, and this is the only way I've heard of getting into e-mode.

That button combo takes you to a black screen giving you the option to factory reset. I'm tethered and downloading a 2.4gb file right now, but once that is finished I can check to see if that is download mode. It won't be able to flash if it's not in download mode, correct?
