Don't flash, extract it and push it into Phone via root explore. make sure when you push its in r/w.when done change it to r/o,
If brooklyn's solution doesn't work, just replace the files manually, that is what I did.

So I download it on my phone. Open it, and use root explorer to overwrite the file, and change the permissions?

Where is the file located that I have to overwrite?

when you have extracted it, go to extracted and youll see app folder and framework folder, go into app folder and copy systemUi.apk and paste it in system/app and it will say merge, click yes. and reboot, then after boot do same for frame but this one goes in system/framework and paste and reboot. and yes at Jpiz, you can create your own theme just follow "guide for uot theming"

I forgot to mention SAVE YOUR system UI and Framework. MAKE A BACK UP. OR I IF SOME ONE CAN POST ON HERE PLEASE. IDk why I was yellin. lol
