Mallrats?
Well, Miller and Kimball both have Green/White for school colors. But so I don't stray too far off topic, I think everyone in Central South Dakota is on Verizon, cause that's the only carrier that gets service there. You might have trouble getting an Incredible there if too many people find out about it.

Loved the part when J&SB beat up the Easter bunny, classic![]()
Everything those dudes ever did was pretty classic...![]()
cant be worse than Pittsburgh drivers
so will that extended battery require a new back or it won't add any bulkiness? viper do you have any info on the release date? sorry if these have been answered just came from nexusoneforums.net and am fed up waiting for the nexus one to come to verizon already.
I wonder if all those belt holster units will work if you use the bigger battery and cover
Viper = Rock Star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I'm not mistaken, these two items MUST be purchased together. correct?
Viperboy says the 2150 will not fit with the existing back, and you will have to purchase the leaked back for the battery to fit. Sorry for the confusion.![]()
$65 for battery and back -- Does that price include Vaseline?
Thanks everyone! SO... that brings me back to my original post - these 2 items MUST BE purchased together, right? The 2150mAh battery in image #4 MUST BE PURCHASED with the back cover in Image #5....... correct?
will the Body Glove still fit with the extended battery and back cover is my question
Great job, Viper! Thanks for the pictures!
HTC claims the eris does not need a screen protector , and apple has stopped selling screen protectors...they also say no screen protector needed.
Are we sure the Incredible is going to need a protector?
I recently heard about Set CPU. So it does require root to work?
Although I've only made one post but read all 629 pages of posts, I'd like to sincerely thank all posters for enlightning this technology challenged
69 year old that decided to purchase a "Smart Phone" and the Incredible it will be. Again my sincere thanks but expect me to post questions after purchase concerning how to make best use of the Damn thing, LOL.
In fact my 1st question is pre-purchase; My local Verizon store stated purchase included set-up and training of phone use, is the training worth the additional $50 +/- Verizon may charge vs. Best Buy etc. for the initual phone purchase.
TRUST ME... You try getting a cab ride with a crazy Somalian driver, doin 60 down State street, all while gabbin away jibberish on his phone (I swear, those guys have no idea what Bluetooth is)...
You'll be begging for your life in no time...
(Didn't mean to offend or profile or stereotype- more often the rule than the exception in Chicago..)
Those of you who are SERIOUS about buying a screen shield for your Incredible should check out what Steinheil will offer for it. Sure, there are tons of other, more widely-known screen shields out there, and many of you might never have even heard of this brand, but I researched screen protectors to death when I almost bought the Eris (that is, until I discovered this crazy place!). Here's a Droid forum that discusses the Steinheil Crystal:

While you might not buy any screen shield for your phone - if you DO, this is THE ONE I'd sure get!![]()
I'd like to add my name to the list of long-time lurkers who have been enticed out by this thread. A big thanks to everyone who has been supplying info on this phone and being informative for those of us new to Android. My NE2 is up in 2 weeks, and while I'd been planning on picking up a Blackberry, you guys (and others) have earned Google one more saleNice work!
On a separate note, while it was a couple pages back now, there was a lot of chat about getting Google Voice set up for the phone. Do you guys have any tips on getting into the program? I've had my name in the beta pool for months now, and after hitting up all my techie friends, I've completely struck out on finding anyone with invites available![]()

And yes, if you want the extended battery, you need the extended battery cover.
Again, the extended battery door should come with the purchase of the extended battery.
Viper, can you please clarify? The above two replies of yours were to two different questions that you just answered - one was mine, one was someone else's. I want the 2150mAh extended battery that you have listed in your accessories. You're saying that I will need to also buy the extended battery cover that is shown in the accessories. But then you indicate that if I were to buy the extended battery - that it should come with an extended battery door? I know this is the case with Seidio - when you buy their mammoth 3500mAh battery, you also get a back that can accommodate the added depth. In short, if I were to buy item #4, the 2150mAh battery, then I NEED TO BUY item #5 AS WELL, which is that backplate. Correct??? If so, then in this instance, the 2150mAh extended battery DOES NOT COME WITH AN EXTENDED BATTERY BACKPLATE, like Seidio's 3500mAh does.
Sorry to be so dense about this and belabor the point, but it's just not clicking with me. Thank you for all of your assistance, Viper!
NP. I was worried when I read that too!
Here are a couple of the links that talked about it:

Hope that's helpful to have. It's the closest version of SenseUI that I know of to what the Inc is thought to have.
In regards to the first post that you took offense to it was directed Solely at Steven ( i.e the reference to the hip and Macaroni Grill) Cant figure out how you mistook that one as being directed at you but rest assured it most definitly was not. He even quoted Steven in the post

and hope you stick around- this really is a great bunch of people (mostly)
It appears to me that he's saying that the extended backplate is included with the purchase of the battery. No need to purchase both of them individually.

Is that the same Rob that Anonimac has mentioned as being the owner of Phandroid or w/e??? Someone needs to set him straight...
Best chance is probably Ebay - some have said they go for around a buck or so.
I appreciate all response to my concern and apologize if I misunderstood the post following my 1st post in this forum. My 1st post stated I am 69 years old and the immediate following post was directed to "Ol' Man" and referred to being careful not to have a second "Hip Replacement" which I felt deragotory and directed to me as it was immediate following my post.
Thanks to all that all that explained, I look forward to another 4 hours per day LOL reading the posts in this most informative "Incredible" forum as this will be my 1st Smart Phone. Again thanks.
Now THAT would make perfect sense, Dogg! I just didn't see the backplate indicated with the purchase of the 2150mAh battery. Obliged!
