Root how to

As many would say : SOL !!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO rooting the Prevail without a Windows PC ! Need Odin to root, which requires Windows ! Sorry for the bad news ! ;)

NOTE : Don't even try any of these goofy options you might find on Google. You WILL brick your Prevail with them !!! ONLY, and I say again, ONLY root is possible with Odin !!!

It's very easy to root it if you don't have a PC. You simply go to a friends house that has one, and follow the root for dummies guide :rolleyes::p:D

That is how I charge all my phones, stuff, ect.... I have never ever used the pc to charge a phone or whatever, only to transfer data or odin or transfer backups, even then I just put stuff in dropbox to put on phone or take off phone. That is just me though!
 
Well, was just asking, since all the USB cable I have, do charging and data.....Never came across a "charging only" cable...... ;) Heck, I even use my USB data cables to charge my elect. cigarettes.... and USB desk lights.... LOL

I have never seen any charge only usb cables either, Sorry, meant the wall charger is all I use!
 
I've seen them on Ebay where they say they are charge only, not data. I think they're minus a pin or two.

That is different? never seen one have to check it out? Not that I need one, have extra batteries and have power inverters in all vehicles except jet ski and motorcycle! Have one on the boat though!:D
 
I have a cable that originally did charge and data. Now it only charges. And I have a wall charger.

But, I keep another pristine data / charge cable for using ODIN and backing up my SD Card to my Laptop. I never use that one for anything else. Lol.
 
I have a charge only USB cable charger, and a data only that I use to connect my phone to my mk808 mini Google TV box

Smart move Wy. Access to Odin is a must.
