Trust me, my life is anything but boring :D . I'm living proof you don't need those things to be happy, and am very healthy.

I have many interests and talents that can keep me entertained for 10 lifetimes.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

lol, well, there you'll be, lying on your death bed, dying of nothing...

...just kidding. I just wanted to use the line.

Im 33, social drinker (excessively at times), used to smoke cigarettes (which means I still do, but only in Vegas), and almost dedicated carnivore.

So I'm applying to law school....

My first post! I guess this is more of an Android question rather than an Incredible question by I would like to know too. I'm currently using an XV6900 with WinMo 6.1 (hangs head in shame). I use a program called PhoneAlarm to auto switch into meeting mode when I have a calendar event. Is there anything like that on Android?

BTW I've really become a junkie on this forum quickly! I love all the info and really appreciate the work you guys go to. I hate the direction WinMo 7 looks to be going, so I'm jumping ship over to Android. I was looking at getting a Droid, but you guys have really sold me on the Incredible. :D

I'm not familiar with Phonealarm, but I'm guessing it switches your phone to quiet mode? If that is what you are looking for, then there is an app called Locale on the android market. It will change your phone's settings based on your GPS location. Just save locations like work, movies, church...and tell the phone what you want it to do and the next time you are in that GPS location, it will change to those settings. Also, you can set up reminders for certain locations. Example: Start a shopping list on your phone, where you are at the supermarket, it can alert you and show you the list so you don't forget anything.

it's $10 but it's going to be one of the first apps I get.

Hello everyone!
Long timer, First timer, waiting since Oct, etc etc.

I don't know if this has been posted or come up, but I saw this on CNET. It's a map that shows signal, data and network strength, etc in all zip codes, for all US carriers. I was surprised to see Sprint was so strong in my area, even beating out Verizon by quite a bit. So I'm wondering how accurate this is.

After seeing this, I am seriously considering waiting a few more weeks for the EVO 4g on Sprint, even though I've been waiting about 9 months for this INCREDIBLE baby to be born (and I might not even be the dad :().

Oh well, if you haven't seen it yet, here's the link:

Root Wireless - CNET Reviews

Just choose the carrier you want to check out and enter your zip...

If you go to http://www.mytruecoverage.com you can register then download the application on your phone and it will keep up with how your signal is wherever you travel. It is not available on all phones yet (of course my POJ Storm 1 isn't included), so you may want to check out the list of phones first...

Am I old, I really don't fit into this target market, and I'm 35, you need to be about 18 for this crap! Give me my Incredible damn you!

34 in Milwaukee, WI here but about to start aging rapidly. My wife is expecting our first in August. This phone may be my last gadget for awhile!

What are the odds? 34 in Milwaukee, WI here as well. I have no kids on the way though, or least hope not! (not married)
