Cause I use the network normally so I have no need to fear them coming down on me because I'm abusing the network. I would like VZW to keep vigilant to make sure the network is in good working condition for the average customer.

So i'm talking out of my best recollection here (read: my a$$) but i seem to remember someone saying that IQ was some program of "experts" where you can order any phone you want (for employees of a store) so you can learn on the device and become an expert at it or something like that. It's all in this thread so i'm sure you can just search IQADR and find it...sorry no time to do it myself...working on the next little news nugget.

Dummy units are basically non-working replicas of new phones for demo purposes. We used to have them on display because when people stoled them it was no great loss, although still cost money. I would always think of how stupid the thief would feel when he found out they took a worthless toy! LOL
I have a box of dummy phones left, with Env, chocolates, etc.

the post yesterday just indicated it was in the computer system in the stores.
the last post indicates that it is physically in the warehouse. Quite different IMO.
ok, so here's the issue with topics like this so please read and maybe next time we don't get caught up in this...(blame goes to Steven58 who should know better by now...ol' a$$ instigator)
So you say something like..."Sounds like we need a poll"...
And 7 pages (and everyone's life story...and possibly Mod involvement, thread closing, etc...) later it's over...
Issue is nobody skips to the last page or reads all the way before posting. We all can't wait to share our own info (i'm guilty myself) and some funny quip about it. So anyone's warning to stop posting, get back "on topic" (whatever that even is on this thread these days), etc... is basically pointless because in a matter of minutes you have 100-200 posts.
Having said that, lets let this current topic run its course, everyone go ahead and tell us whatever you want to tell us regarding your age but in the future lets be mindful of how EASY it is for something like this to get out of hand and avoid it!

No i'm not trolling... I'm asking a serious question.. Why would you support a company like this. The same hold true for comcast. They are doing the same thing. I just don't understand why you guys don't see a problem with this...

The longstanding rumor/thought on this matter is that they'll be announcing 6 new phones over the next few days. It started with the MS phones, and will hopefully lead to the incredible.

Brainstorm: So a dummy model is hardware with no working software (with a screenshot displayed) <= correct. Doesn't Best Buy have dummy models for lot of phones? So couldn't this mean that those will be the Best Buy display phones? And this would make sense (pun not intended) because the incredible is available at BBY rather soon (rumored for 29th). Opinions anyone?

Your question has been answered already. We like the network and MOST of us are not DATA hogging abusers and don't mind people who are getting throttled back a little. Now stop copying/pasting the same question over and over. That is dictionary definition of trolling.
