Root How to root Micromax A25 by Mastermind

not able to flash while selecting all files of stock rom.. :/
i have to de-select Preloader.. nd below that ....

plzzzz help, i am able to flash modified boot image nd cwm....
tell me if something can be via that....

for everyone's notice i bricked my phone by formatting whole rom.... ( by mistake)
bt now when i intentially try that,... error comes... !! :D WTF

Brick ur device then format ur phone 3 times select one option each time before format load stock rom scatter file after that try firmware upgrade and then try download
 
can u explain more in detail.. also am not able to format either....

i used adb... nd came to know that my phone don't have anything in it..
no /system folder, etc etc...
becoz of that not able to pust anything into phone rom..
 
if u have CWM recovery installed and working.
U must install update.zip given above or stock rom directly.
Is it possible for you?
Tell me is CWM recovery installed and even working?
some1 then provide rooted Backup of ROM
and this people will directly paste in SD card and use restore.
 
when i unselect PRELOADER and DSP_BL, nd select " disable DA download all"
it shows countdown timer, and i am able to flash those files, if i don't select " disable DA download all" it don't show countdown and it shows same error below......

bt when is select all files... it does not show countdown in any state, i think thats why i can't flash stock rom...
is it any help in solving my problem to anyone ??
its been 3 days since my phone is bricked...
i again quote that in can use cwm nd my phone can show battery charging... after i flash all files except "Preloader and DSP_DL"...
will nandroid back help me or any other backup....
will if yes then plzz someone upload it.. as i don't have anything on my side except stock rom and "stock rom modified" bt it hangs while update.. or show error whether i try many times. :( :(

help help help... coz now am frustated.. :( :(

or can i go to micromax centre.. nd give excuse of some virus.. :D :D
would that work ??

well i tried using "update from sdcard"
i had "stock rom modified.zip" which was uploaded by vaibhav to help someone...
it starts installing and then hangs saying "installing jellyboom"... or it shows error..
 
can anyone provide me with "stock rom.zip" which can be used with cwm to unbrick my phone.
also the method to install it.
is "stock rom.zip" available on ftp micromax server is the one i need coz i already had that one ... bt i can;t use it with cwm.. till now.
 
@ADI u dont have to disable da download option try without disablling da download when u click download button it will show searching then connect ur phone to pc

will it help, if a take the phone to market and get it flashed with flashing devices they have....

try update.zip Which is basically stock rom with ROOTed superuser
Its already provided by vaibhav. or wait till my 12th gets over i will upload whole backup which i already have!
use CWM for update.zip tell me is it working or not?

problem is i have formatted whole rom..( kind of bcoz it wasn't fully completed);
so i need Preloader nd DSP_BL to be flashed into phone or nothing will work..

today i was successful in installing "stock rom modified" given by vaibhav thru cwm... it showed installed... bt when i rebooted.... it was same as before..
i couldn't get past splash screen( micromax logo).. :/
 
Strange try visiting micromax center if they can help
If you get any installation error in installing STOCKROM.zip provided by mmx ftp server through CWM
tell me or try replacing META-INF folder basically.
just extract and replace meta-inf folder and compress again. Your good to go.
tell me did it worked?

dude did u hv followed my instructions to flash rom...well if not here they goes...
1) wipe data and cache partition
2) wipe cache partition
3) go to advance menu and wipe davlik cache
4) go back and select mount and restore the format data, format cache and format system
5) go back and select install zip from sd card
6) select choose zip from sd card
7) selcet the zip file downloaded above and select yes..if it asks yes 2 times the just click on yes and it will be flashed..
8) fix permission from advanced menu
9) ur phone will take upto 5 minutes to boot first time...this is because the system prepares the davlik cache...

i did same... it installed bt still stuck at boot screen.. kept phone on that for abt 30 mins.

i don't get u, stock rom.zip provided by ftp server can't be flashed thru cwm, i guess...
don't it need to be flashed thru sp flash tool after extraction.. ??? :O
also it doesn't contain any META-INF folder.. accurately there is no folder..

Stock rom cannot be flashed through CWM
try different ways by flashing by old methods of mastermind.

Did you tried update.zip or modified.zip through CWM?
I recommend first install update.zip
And get a backup and restore :P

Keep asking cos your not bricked
as charging mode can be seen and cwm also appears there must be some way.

it opened a screen when my phone was working bt after get bricked ... it doesn't opens... phone directly proceeds to splash screen..

only power+vol up opens up recovery screen.... :/

i have tried something lyk that before, bt will try again in evening...
 
Infinite thanks to mistermind finally i rooted my mmx smart a25................ Its really easy just pay attention to each step and u need to do nothing extra apart from these steps........
