Root How to root Micromax A25 by Mastermind

This what i did..
1. I used an OTG cable to connect the phone as MTK USB port. (Meta Mode)
1. I flashed the old firmware files from here
2.Then flashed the CWM recovery from here courtesy - aman.droid
3. Used upadte.zip to root phone through CWM recovery. courtesy - stayboogy, If that doesn't work you could try z4root.apk

This is what worked for, i am not encouraging anybody but if your phone is bricked you could try this method nothing to loose i guess.

But for those who have phone in working condition this is little bit risky, If u dont know the basics of flashing i suggest you dont try this method coz there is a greater chance in bricking your device.

Note: you have been warned so proceed at your own risk. :deal:

now I,m back....
would u like to say me what is the sw version before u flash old version in your A25???

nd u get any time Eboot Error : 16008, when u try to root in sp without flashing old version .......

I have rooted my phone but after it i use mobile uncle tool to flash my recovery.img andunable to go in recovery mode in my phone tell me the solution pls.......

Follow these steps

If you're facing any error file flashing with SP Flash Tool, Open Device Manager > Expand Ports > Select MediaTekPreloader.. and Update Driver Software > Browse the Computer > Let me pick.... > Uncheck show Compatible Hardware > Select MTK USB Port in "Model Column" > Press OK > Reboot Computer (Optional) > Reconnect phone > There will be no error in flashing now.

After doing steps above, open SP flash tools, Load the scatter file -> Format -> Format Whole Flash -> Options -> DA Download All -> Disable download all. Then Download,

Which recovery file u used..? try flashing using SP flash tool with only the recovery option checked...!
 
plz tell me how to manually install a25 usb vcom driver. its very important for me. i don't know how to install it please tell me as fast as possible or with screenshot its so easy
 
hi guys
please help me my A25 is bricked and I don't know how to unbrick it.
I was getting partition error so I changed the scatter file and now my phone is not starting at all please I beg u help me :(
