Help Texting issue

Hey does anyone else ever experience the phone seems to lag when texting using Swype? It usually does not catch up on its own I have to turn to landscape or back. Any ideas? Ms 910 number two v2.7 it did this on other ROMs tho

Swype is such a RAM hog that's it's prolly due to the phone having low RAM with other apps running.

Have you tried using the beta version to see if it's any better? I actually prefer the beta version over the official because it has about 8-10 different themes for the keyboard. The only downfall to the beta is that the back button doesn't delete whole words when long pressed. It only deletes letter by letter. I don't get why the official doesn't have themes, makes no sense but swype makes no sense either. They're a finicky company.
 
Yup I love Swype And I am currently using beta 1.3 I would really prefer to keep it but ill try using another keyboard for now. Thanks for the idea
 
How can I make sure other apps aren't running? I know that task killers are not really necessary, is there some setting in toolbox ?
