I haven't looked into anything custom.
I really do LOVE my phone as it is.
Now IF it were a slow phone suffering from performance issues; that's a different story.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned. Just love the fact that android seems to be the only mobile OS that can be, and is, configured in a different way for each and every user.

LOL...This is the main reason I've loved Android. Windows Mobile (before they scrapped it and went with what is now known as Windows Phone) was very similar to Android (especially with HTC's invention of TouchFlo 3D...which was basically the early version of what eventually became Sense UI), as far as customization for my own needs, but Android took it to a whole different level. -EDIT- I forgot to add the fact that it took jumping through a lot more hoops to customize the phone on Windows Mobile than it did for Android, right out of the box.
It was hard for me to even consider iOS after experiencing Android. The one thing I didn't like about iOS was not being able to set it up to suit my needs. Everything being generically the same just made me feel like I was giving up my individuality and how my mind works, especially with regards to organization and multi-tasking. I still find it strange to hear people say that they feel iOS is better at multi-tasking than Android because I've never found that to be the case. But that just proves that everyone thinks differently...and Android allows for everyone to continue to think/work differently with their tech devices.
The main reason why I switched from my Evo to the iPhone was the integration and smoothness iOS. Not to mention less force closes until all of the updates of iOS took up majority of the 512mb ram the 4S has. Then I got bored with the phone as a whole because iTunes became a headache with uploading music and being the anal person I am I wanted the proper album art for each album and artist. And rearranging apps around and changing the wallpaper daily is not my idea of customization. Last but not least I was tired of seeing iPhones everywhere. I couldn't walk the mall without someone walking and texting or talking on their iPhones no matter what case they had you can tell it's an iPhone. I decided I wanted to be different again and now that android has advanced past apple products I knew it was time to come back. And I am so happy I did even though I don't know a 4th of what the Note2 is capable of I am proud to own a beast of a phone.

I love that dialer and the status bar icons. I hate the stock jellybean ones but I don't really feeling like rooting and roming just to change those.

I think you mean you hate the stock Samsung icons. Stock Jelly Bean icons are the ones you would find on the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus. They are blue and awesome looking. Without root and a custom rom you are using the Samsung skinned icons which is what I think you are saying you hate.

for the pic of the phone... i didn't use anything fancy like a device generator... i used something a little more old school called photoshop! i dont know if you've heard of it
