pin hole?

sombody tell me what the pin size hole is for, located next to the data cable outlet on the g2, i took the back cover of to see if there was anything behind it, and there is, but not sure what it is, or whats it for

Agree with IceMan911 .... opening for the mic ... you will find a similar hole on many models of phones...

Cover it while you are on the phone an see if that doesnt reduce the sound your listner is getting ...
 
I thought it was for all of the bits you downloaded off of the internet to fall out of once youve viewed them.

If its not that then where DO they all go? Eh? EH??!?!
 
I have a similar question. My Hero has this big shiny thing on the front, almost the full length of the device. It has colours, icons and patterns on. Any idea what it's for? ;)
 
It's for a wrist strap, lanyard or string accessory. If you take the back off you can see a little hook thing so you can attach one of the above, like what you get with a camera. I want one but would probably end up breaking my phone by swinging it about recklessly!


Edit: oops, yeah its the Mic. But the hole I meant is on the lower back of the phone. Hopefully none of you knew what that was for so I don't look stupid after all :-) ?
