I hate to break it to all of the "You could tell they knew something by their body language" stories, but if Verizon employees got any kind of official word, we'd know about it within minutes from viper, ibowtoandroid, or one of the other great sources we have here.

If a VZW employee seems fidgety, he probably is just fidgety. I'm sure that as soon as one of the many great moles we have finds out anything, it will be leaked here before any normal Joe has time to go to a store ask about the Incredible, get home, and post about it.

I really think all VZW employees are just as in the dark about the release as we are.

Yeah, that part is rather goofy, but I do actually enjoy when people find VZW employees that seem to be reading our thread and are excited about the phone! :)

Viper, any idea how long it was from the time we had this type of information to release with the Droid? That might point to something?

Incredible wont be released until the end of this month, more info should start to pop up towards the end of this week..

Just set up Google Voice (thanks for the invite Geo), got a couple questions:

If someone calls my Google Voice # and routes to my VZW phone, does it count against my monthly minutes? I remember hearing the texting doesn't count (I think?) so you can drop texting as long as you don't picture/video text (btw anyone know if Google has plans to support this?).

Thanks! Kinda excited about the features of Google Voice :)
You can get texts for free if you have it set up correctly. First, you need a smartphone with the Google Voice app. Second, make sure you DON'T have it forward texts to your phone, or else it will be counted as a text by Verizon.

Hey all read this & just thought you might get a kick out of this>

One would think AT&T would be the carrier to look at when you consider the network that's known to transfer the most amount of data across their network; especially with data hungry iPhone owners eating up their fair share. Interestingly enough, AT&T wasn't the actual leader in that category, but both Verizon and Sprint managed to stay on top of the number two wireless carrier all of last year. Most of the blame can be attributed to AT&T's network issues that hindered them from being placed higher on the list for carrying the most data traffic in 2009. According to ABI Research, both Sprint and Verizon topped AT&T – Big Red took the number one spot with Sprint coming in at second; when combined, the two carriers generated 63 percent of the US market's mobile network data traffic. In reality, it's not the myriad of smartphones that cause the most amount of data to be transferred. Instead, Verizon's and Sprint's laptop mobile data connections far exceeded the numbers put up by AT&T – strangely enough, lower data-consuming business customers consisted a good majority of Sprint's and Verizon's laptop connections. Looking at projected trends, Verizon is expected to keep its spot at number one over the course of the next five years while AT&T's traffic will increase steadily and eventually take the runner up position by 2012. T-Mobile unfortunately takes the fourth spot followed by a bunch of other mobile operators – obviously being late to the 3G game can have a drastic affect on these numbers.

So I guess maybe us lowly CDMA networks can handle the data demands of something like an iPhone, not that I'd want one!

awww crap! I can't plan for my 400th post by asking you guys what i should post on my 400th post if this IS my 400th post...damn it! there's always 500...

Congrats on your 400th post, Anonimac. Was it as good for you as it was for me? :p

I'm just curious as to how many people waiting for the Incredible are.

A. Current Android users
B. Current SmartPhone users (Palm, Windows, iPhone)
C. Current Feature Phone users.

I'm currently an Omnia (Windows) user and can't wait for the Incredible.

Edit: Just saw THIS poll so I guess the real question is how many of those SmartPhone Users are already using an Andoid phone? Where are our Android Veterans?
