Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Not to get too mushy or graphic, but gentlemen:

Learn what a Breast Self Exam is and don't let your lady do it. Do it for her. At least once a month. All the little circles and lines and pressing to search for anything unusual. It's a necessary thing for her and... uh... very romantically stimulating for both of you if YOU do it.

And yes, testicular cancer is a leading cancer among men aged 25-45. Learn what to check for and check. Often. You definitely DON'T want to lose THOSE marbles!

Morning all. Thanks for the laughs!
TGIF... Oh and we got our bonuses today... Its a good day. Now what to buy for my other half? New DSLR, laptop, trip...? Well they are all on her list. Now what... Lol!
Anyways... With that announcement from the other day.. We are extremely busy at work. Short weeks always seem more stressful. Oh well. Planning for a nice weekend. Just gotta get through today!

Yes congrats Ryan! My bonus went to pay off debt. Slowly getting out of the hole we got ourselves into the first 5 years of marriage. :p

Congrats Ryan! Bonuses are always a plus.

I watched Hugo yesterday and I have to say I was vastly underwhelmed. I think its the type of movie that has to be seen on the big screen. Oh well, its one less movie that I haven't seen. :)

I just sold a car and got to drop the insurance on it. That means more money each month for the new phone account! And if my calculations are correct, I should have JUST enough in it by the end of the year to replace Ginny (IF the right device comes to VZW) and get a Google Glass.

:D

Even the technologically-impaired Darling Bride is impressed by Glass. I suppose next year when her S3 is due for a replacement, she'll want Glass too. Something else to teach her how to use over and over

The Glass looks pretty cool, but atm I'm keeping busy playing with my Pebble.

I have to admit it was kind of cool using it in meetings the last few days. The phone was on silent, but my wrist would "vibrate" and I could see who was calling or read the incoming text by looking at my "watch."

Morning all... I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy National Margarita Day yesterday as much as we did. Came home late, starting reading on AF.. Made a conscious decision that I should not be posting here or any other social site, and put my phone away. Prolly a smart move. Lol

Anyways, long week over. Going to get some house work done this weekend, maybe play a video game or 2..catch up on couch time with the better half... All in all a good weekend in the works!

Glass looks great to me. I like that I can... Maybe... Add it to my regular glasses.. Also still trying to figure out how to get the pass I need to get into the interactive session at SXSW here in Austin in a couple of weeks. Expensive pass if that's the only activity I want to do during the festival. $1500... Oh well, still trying anyways.

Gah, now Ron has his Pebble!
Not sure I'll ever get mine. HAD to order the white one too. :p
Just watched the Glass video on The Verge. Still not convinced this is something I'll use. Who knows though how it'll develop.

I like the idea of having a real-life HUD, and being able to take pictures of what I see, but I just can't shake the feeling that it's just going to lead to a population of people walking around talking to themselves. It's going to be insanely weird.

We already have BT headsets and they drive me crazy.

Sorry to hear that Dread. Since I went to Kickstarter late in the process I assumed everyone had gotten theirs. I'm glad I requested the JET (of course!) black watch.

I went late as well. May 12 IIRC. Ah well, at least it gives more time to get more development on it. My Pebble Notifier app has already updated twice in the past couple weeks. :)

So this year I want to get a new phone(probably full price). I'll also be getting 2 new playstations, me and my nephew(maybe for him). Google Glass would be nice even though my life is nowhere exciting enough to use it. I also want to get a new tv, at least 55".

Damn electronics!

Morning everyone! It is wet here, in fact it's the worst I have ever seen my yard flooded. The nearby river was already at flood stage, and we've gotten at least another three inches of rain last night, and it's still coming. And we have three days of heavy rain predicted next week too. Gonna be interesting. :p
