Xvid? Well, I guess we couldn't expect it to be h.264 with a cell phone cam, but that's old stuff there. Also, we should have a facepalm smiley.

EDIT: I like the new buttons.
 
What's the difference in data plan costs for a corporate blackberry on a BES to the Incredible? I believe it is $45 down to $29 or am I completely off on that?

Alright folks, good news...someone inclined to this forum and thread has been asked to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by their management on the Incredible so we have a very good inside track now.

What does this mean for us:
1. Further confirmation that the Incredible is close if they are training SMEs
2. Increased potential for pictures, technical documents, CBTs, juicy screen shots, etc...
3. That someone's hands are in their pants already by the time they even get to number 3.:D (gross)

Correct. When you switch from BES on a BB with VZW you go from ~$45 to the $29 package. If you activate the EXCHANGE EMAIL and CALENDAR on the EXCHANGE APP that is pre-loaded, you will be back up to the ~$45 CORPORATE package. Use touchdown. I talk about it on my website Blackberry to Android

Not for Incredible. However VZW can tell if you are using exchange (just like if your on a BES with BB) by the domain and exchange server.

Also the app your referring to does not poll, so emails ARE NOT INSTANT.

NKT is our warehouse mole, I'd put $40 down on black to bet that the excel leak we got yesterday came from the ole 3 consonants

I think that's a perfect idea. I'll make that my first "hello world" app that runs exclusively on the Incredible. Watch this space for its release.

The same results come up on the main site, and if you look at any of the hits they all say "incredible audio" or something. I think the headsets are just legitimate search results for "incredible."

Actually, TD can use activesync and even if you don't have activesync capabilities on your server, you can make it check for emails every minute if you want. Granted, not instant, but within 1 minute is instant to me.

I am on a business account, using (3) droids now. (2) are using Touchdown @ the $29.99 package. The 3rd one I bought yesterday I activated the EXCHANGE (not using TD) and I was charged for the $49 plan. I called and told them I was just testing and will not be using EXCHANGE. They switched it back to the $29 one. Then installed TD.

We were all on a BES with BB's. Also the other (2) have been running TD and the package has not change, still on the $29 for corp user.

I don't think NKT knowing they were fakes necessarily proves that he/she posted them. There is obviously a bit of a behind the scenes forum for those that happen to know and share this information. We all are just lucky enough to have contact with them. I'd be very, very surprised is NKT wasn't a part of that underground forum, though.

As an aside, I see nothing wrong with them having a more secretive venue. It insures that the information continues to flow without anyone getting into trouble. It's good for everyone. :)
