Time for a 10 minute time out...everyone just go pee, get some coffee, deep breaths, etc...

This is the only way i can stop hundreds of people from replying with their respective views on some argument...

In 10 minutes will re-open the thread with hopes (read: expectations) that we've put the most recent difference of opinion behind us.

Ahh, much better. Question: If the phone is available from in the stores on the same day as online, how many are going to order online and how many people will be waiting for the doors to open?
 
No doubt Eris pricing would be great considering some places are offering $50 just for you to take one!!

A bit of advice to those who don't want to read all of the "off-topic" or what I prefer to call "less on-topic" posts.

What I do when I don't have time to read all of the banter in this thread (which I do actually enjoy, I might add) is just scroll through each page quickly, looking for threads that have 10+ "Thanks" under them. It's really easy to blow through pages of content and pick out the important stuff if you do that.

Seriously?? I think it's been a pretty damn good couple of days... The info we take for granted and have had for a while is info that other major sites (Engadget, Gizmodo, BGR) are just releasing today as "breaking news".

They have two choices:

1. Eat a lot of crow and give props to this site/forum by flashing our watermark.

or...

2. Wait several days before they get their own version to post and call "breaking news".

Personally, i'm thrilled with how we're positioned to ride this out vs. others.;)

I agree, it's been a great couple of days as far as this thread and all it's contributers, but it's been a lame couple of days on Verizon's part though.

I have a BB Mobile by me that I know people at. They are going to call me as soon as they open the shipment.

I'm going to take mine home 3 days before they are available to sell and play with it.

No really I do that with all of my new devices, usually 2-3 days early to get acquainted with my new friend.

if there is a rebate, they come in the mail quickly. i'll take waiting 2-3 weeks for the rebate to have the in store purchase benefits (easier returns, questions, etc...etc).
 
So I'm not sure if this has been covered yet, but has anyone confirmed that the Best Buy documentation that we received was legit?

I'm not trying to doubt that document here (I believe it's one of the best pieces, if not THE best that we have seen) I was just wondering if this weeks ads match up with that .pdf that we saw.

I'd check it out, but "shopping" is blocked at work, so I can't see what the BB ad is this week.
