Edit your music for ringtones. any app?

I was wondering if there is any app out there or a way to edit the music you have put on your sd card so you can make it a certain point in the song for a ringtone.

I set my one song as my ringtone but it just starts from the beginning is there a way to make it start and end where I want? or an app for this?

Ringdroid is what you need from the market.

It's already built in. When you want to set one of your songs as a ringtone from the music app, click "trim ringtone."

If you are running 1.5 then you will have to use ringdroid.

If you are running 2.1 then you can simply start playing a song and hit menu > Set as ringtone > trim the ringtone and you can set it to any section of the song you want.

I've noticed that the trimmer on 2.1 is not as fine as ringdroid. It works pretty well though.

Really? It only let me set them as a ringtone in 1.5. I never saw an option to trim them until I had 2.1.

does it matter? just install ringdroid. its a small app and it is freakin amazing. no need to fool around trying to rig together a way to make them with the stock player when there is an app that does it with much less hassle

Yup.

Just go to Music App > Choose your song > Menu > Trim the Ringtone > Trim the song > then click set as > then set as ringtone

No need to waste internal memory when you already have it.
