Help Flash Help

Hey Fellow Droidies,

Seeing as Adobe Flash player doesn't work on the S3 anymore I can't watch certain things on the Internet :-(

Is there an alternative we can use? Maybe a different flash player or a way to watch flash content on the Internet?

If you are talking browser wise try Dolphin Browesr, works perfectly.

you can download flash from their website and install it, works fine on mine, will try to find the link for you

I'm using Dolphin browser and no flash content plays, says to update my flash player. It's saying it when i use it for watching football streams and loads of other things.

I've tried to reinstall it, i get the message "this device does not support Adobe flash player"


I'm on Vodafone UK, NeatROM 1.7 lite, Siyah Kernal if any of that helps

All i get is a small blue 3D Cube in the centre, when i click on that it disappears and nothing happens, at top of video i want to play it says flash player needs updating :s:

I am on vodafone uk, is your rooted, then I don't know, mine isn't

this is the link where I downloaded it from to my pc, move it over to the phone and used Astro to install.

Yeah u just cant get flash from play store any more but it works fine. Wont work with Chrome though

I'll try that link tomorrow when i get a bit time. Will any of the android versions work?

Is there any settings etc i could check to see if i have unchecked a box by accident that maybe a problem.

Edit :- downloaded flash and now it's working again

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I am guessing I need flash to view content from two of my applications..because normally where there would be content on my old phone, is just white space.

I followed the link and have loaded Adobe Flash player version 11.1 for android under archive.

When I go to the page to find the version of flash, the flash video plays just fine to tell me the version.

When I go to the official download adobe page, I get a blue square where the indication video would be.

Basically-- two different readings.

I've gone in security and set plug-ins to always on, and I've already done the unknown sources trick to get the download in the first place.

I don't really need flash within my browser, but I desperately need it within these two apps-- or it's back to the store with this phone.
