The Casio Brigade is at $249...Some Verizon guy back in November commented that $199 is the new maximum price point for all phones going forward. I think with the data plan subscription requirement, Verizon has positioned themselves to make out nicely despite the subsidy such that there's no need to price the phones any higher. I'll bet you $199 that it'll be $199 for a 2 year contract.

The look on Steven58's face as you turn around with your new Incredible in hand, and hearing the helpful salesman sadly inform Steven (who's standing next in line behind you) that you just bought their very last Incredible of that shipment: PRICELESS!!!
The way I have seen it work is this: the primary line on a family plan gets the NE2 discount, which is based on the plan you have and when you signed on. You can use your NE2 discount at the 2 year mark (actually, they let you use it at 20 months, so it's a little less than 2 yrs). You can upgrade after one yr at the promotional pricing, but you only get to use the NE2 discount if it's been 20 months. The secondary lines are eligible for promotional pricing on upgrades at the 1 year mark or 2 year mark, but they don't get the additional NE2 discount. Hope this all makes sense, not sure I explained it too well!

i heard about verizon offering this to people so i went in the store and brought it up and they knew nothing about it. i was slightly persistent and got special permission from the manager for an early upgrade though
