It's cool having a Verizon GNex treb...as long as you treat it like a Nexus. I'm running 4.2.2...stable...on a Verizon Gnex...since day one. Same with 4.2.1 and 4.1.2 and 4.1.1 et al.

Verizon really screwed over customers with late updates to the Galaxy Nexus. I won't be getting it on at&t because I'm buying it unlocked. They suck too!!

Believe it or not, the Verizon version was officially updated to 4.2.2 earlier this week
The sprint version is now the red headed step child stuck on 4.2.1

I have a Gnex in the house, and I still prefer my LTEvo. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome phone, I personally don't care about prompt updates. I'll never own an un-rooted phone, so I update on my schedule.
