Root LG Motion CyanogenMod 10 Beta 1

Any one that tried the beta 4 mind telling me how great your battery life is ? I could stand not having no sms as textfree is a good app to use while in that rom . Just that my battery life wasent great for me . Might have just been my phone though . Can any one that uses there phone all day with intensive cpu hog apps post there results . Thanks in advance .

Well if you're using alpha I never used it for a whole day just played with it for a bit.
But beta 4 on the other hand I used it for a couple of days.
Battery life on beta 4 was a little sad. Was about half of stock
 
Thanks bro . Did you do any tweaking ? Also was wondering do you use any app to control the cpu to underclock it ?
 
I think it works, I'm texting and able to use data on cm10 beta 4 , my preferred network is on cdma auto (prl)

edit: I noticed when you try sending an mms it like breaks the picture or something.

Thanks for this though, it makes the rom a lot more usable
 
What version did you flash from? I don't use MMS much or 4g at all, so I can (finally) switch to CM10 permanently.
 
I think there's a problem. when I send a message it says it sends successfully but it comes out as @'s or just nothing at all to the other person. and I flashed from the latest version

Did the MMS actually go through?
 
Has anyone tried toggling the radio on/off button in LTE mode or perhaps reboot in LTE mode? I'm a nOOB at modding my phone, but I tried it and I think it's an awesome look. I'm just wondering if the data which is my only problem on cyanogenmod in my motion might be as simple as toggling the radio.

I'm pretty sure that the correct setting for radio is LTE/CDMA for MetroPcs LG Motion. I read that people were setting it to CDMA Auto (prl). Which would explain zero data. MetroPcs only delivers 1g and 4g lte. They no longer broadcast 3g or so I read.


@ gOLDEN: My text went through in the mod the other night...I just wish someone could figure out what the problem with getting 4g is. It said I was receiving 1g in my status window but...I couldn't open any websites. I wish someone could fix the 4g in the mod.

The problem is that we can't get the phone to read the UICC/ICCID card which allows the LTE usage. CDMA auto is what allowed people to get 3G (aka EV) on CM10. Metro has had 3G EVDO for a while now...
