You really need to change your friends name on the forum to something else. May I suggest Agent23. Saying Dan keeps confusing me into thinking its Dan Hesse. lol

I like that bottom slider. The Sense UI on WM is much more graphically orientated. I think due to restrictions of Android graphics, it can't be that pretty. I don't really know a lot about Android though, so I am probably wrong. The Sense UI Music and Pictures elements on WM are just beautiful, not to mention the weather and clock.

It's taken me a very long time to go from page 56 (or so) to here. It's hard to keep up with this forum when you don't check on a regular basis. Keep up the good work.
 
You know, I was thinking about that price of $5,555.55 that the sprint system has for the evo... maybe a May 5th release?? I know its not a sun but just a thought LOL

For $5555.55 I'll fly out to Asia get you one straight from the source get me one in the process fly back and still have about 500 bucks left to play around with.

I'm gonna do the same thing at my local Sprint store for the EVO launch that I did during Pre launch day back in June 6, 2009. I'll be bringing 3 dozen donuts (and maybe coffee from Peet's if not too much to carry and handle) for the folks in line with me. If you're in San Francisco Geary Blvd Sprint store - the store opens 8am. I should* be in line at 5:30 - 6am if I can sneak out of the house early enough. Sleeep wifey sleeeep....you are dreaming that I'm getting dressed again for a phone release.....sleeeep
 
Guys I can't keep up with this thread so I'm glad the Sprint site has been down so I can read non-stop here...

I was so tantalizingly close to the Evo in Vegas, yet so far away (I was at ISC West instead of CTIA) I could have cried that day... ;)

My real hope is that HTC/Sprint handle this phone better than my current Hero...

Glad for all the info and I can't wait for this phone.

I actually crashed the launch party (6/5) in Beverly Hills for the Pre. I got mine at 11:50pm :D Not worth the wait, if I am honest LOL. I think I will just walk in and pick up the EVO on launch day.
 
I am excited about the evo. This will be my first android phone. I am a little disappointed with my pre but its been good to me. Hopefully evo will knock everyones socks off LOL. I hope everyone is having a good week. Tc

Read the first paragraph carefully; what Self Praise is saying is he's had the EVO for months now. Notice that he says "the majority of what Jackson has stated is correct."

Go back and read Self Praise's posts and you'll see what's he's saying. I don't remember if he said he worked for Sprint or not, but he must. Still, when he says " I wish I could state my reasons more clearly," that means he is bound by Sprint and can't say too much.

I believe he stated he works for a company that tests mobile equipement
I was only trying to clarify what Supersonical was referring to in his statement.
It seems obvious to me at this point that Supersonical is legit and is generally right on. I look forward every day to following his posts and I appreciate the effort he makes to keep us all as well informed as is possible.
 
Eh you missed an interesting pissing match but other than that nothing. We're all waiting for Friday at this point.
