I don't think I'll ever understand why stories about people going into a Verizon store, asking about the Incredible and the sales person responding with something other than "Yes the Incredible will be released on (date)" ever get a second thought. If you walk into a store and mention the Incredible and the sales person shifts their weight from their left foot to their right foot... that is no affirmation of warehouse inventory, it affirms they stand on their feet all day. If you walk into a store and mention the Incredible and the sales person hiccups.... that is no indication of a release date, it indicates they might be drunk.
Bottom line, is if you ask a question and EXPECT they will try to elude you, you'll assume their actions are made with a deceptive intent. If there is something known by a lonely sales rep we'll most likely know it WAY before they do. I have a close friend who works for corporate Best Buy mobile and he's asking me about information regarding the Incredible because of what I know from the forum. I think we get better information from those with sources and for their hard work I salute them.
*insert salute here*
Perception and expectation management people... I read some of these posts thinking they were left by Jason Borne and/or Jack Bauer
*takes soap box and throws it in the garbage*
That all being said, if you are the lonely sales rep and you have some sweet nugget of info, send it to Anonimac.
