Help Soooo dissapointed

Dear all

I signed up for a Galaxy today from O2 UK. Got it home and powered it up (after 2 hours charge) and it locked up after 2 mins and now will not restart. All I can feel is the 'thud' which I presume means its charging. I just can't get it to switch on. Any ideas?

there are different "power on" commands like fast boot and recovery mode

you do those when the phone is off and hold down buttons while you press the power on.

id take it back to o2 and get it replaced

try removing the battery for 30 sec , then replace and try again

Power the phone off (ie take the battery out and reseat it), then power it on not by the usual "end call" button, but with the extended key "chord". That should turn on the phone on in a special state according to the chord you used.

Good luck! The Galaxy is awesome. Although, my 2-month-old unit has developed a defect in the sensors, and I'm trying to get hold of the repair centre...
