I had the HD2 and it fit in my front pocket fine. I don't think you should ever put a phone in your back pocket that is like begging to break the screen IMHO. :)

Thanks again for all the info. Mostly just lurking to get the info.
I have all EVO news emailed to me and I am getting annoyed at all the stories calling the next I phone the "Iphone 4G" and calling for a "4G war" this summer. Does anyone else notice this confusion that the next 4th Generation Iphone is being confused as a 4G device by the media.

Todays media can be accused of many things. Being well informed is not one of them :o

That is when you let them use your 4G hotspot to see the difference on their 4g or 4c for crap iPhone. Then turn it off and laugh at their speeds, oh and service provider, and contract price and coverage, and small screen, and....do I need to continue??? :)

as far as Verizon using "Droid" on everything, so what, did anyone realy care about the droids on Star Wars. The EVO will be the JEDI of phones.
On second thaught maybe sprint should use the Terminator and hunt down the other "smart phones"

I'm still going to say I bought a HTC Supersonic. EVO reminds me of an awesome car instead.

Why were you looking at a newspaper when you had an EVO in the car? Pretty sure that flash forward was faked. :p

Whatever you're smoking, I want some....

Did some searching...and I see that, atleast from what I could find, that the Incredible hasnt been FCC approved yet either....which can be a good sign for the EVO if they are already anouncing the release date for the Incredible.

I can definitely see the EVO being released around June 6th to the 13th now.....makes too much sense, specially for all the Sprint users that bought a PRE on launch day.

From Engadget:

New Mexico Rail Runner train gets lit with WiMAX, sets a good example

By Darren Murph posted Apr 14th 2010 12:05PM

Oh sure, we've seen the occasional big city train get their own WiFi / WiMAX installation, but when a state like New Mexico steps up and does it, we take notice. The New Mexico Rail Runner, which travels some 95 miles between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, is now lit with WiMAX along the entire route, and the service is being provided gratis for all who ride. Better still, the New Mexico Mid-Region Council of Governments has no intentions of ever charging patrons in order to recoup the $2.4 million investment. We're told that users can expect download rates of up to 6Mbps and upload speeds nearing 4Mbps, and we're desperately hopeful that other states will take notice and attempt to get with the program. America's already way behind most every European nation when it comes to rail travel, but toss a "free WiMAX!" sign on the door and you just might coax these car-lovin' Yanks into going mass transit.

As someone who follows both forums, the Inc. went through FCC in February. I'm too lazy to go back and find the link in that monstrosity of a thread but there was a big hub bub about it when it happened.

I did a search of just FCC, they didnt think it was the Incredible because of the Wifi cert.

The cert I saw(lost the link now) had the phone as b/g with no n.....and the Incredible is confirmed to have b/g/n.

But if the Incredible was FCC approved, no biggie......I still believe that the reason that the EVO hasnt been yet is due to HTC/Sprint not wanting it yet....or because EVO is the first 4G phone and maybe some filings had to be tweaked??

There is also the possibility that the EVO could have already been approved and due to it being 4G, it was under a coding no one would recognize yet?
