Did you do s-off on your phone or did you take the march OTA update and then root your phone?

I hate to tell you this, but there is no RUU available for your phone anymore. :(

The only RUU that exists at this point is for the original 1.13 release on hboot 1.57.0000. Unfortunately an RUU will not allow you to downgrade unless you are s-off.

We have been recommending that people not take the OTA if they are not s-off for this reason. The other reason being, we don't know yet if s-off is possible after taking the OTA. No one has tested it out yet... It is officially unsupported but there is a chance it will work. But there is also a chance that it won't and could even possibly damage something. We just don't know at this point...

So basically at this point, you are stuck without an RUU and your only option is to not get yourself into a situation where you need it and use stock based roms, and hope an RUU becomes available for the new version, or be the guinea pig that attempts s-off for the first time on the OTA with no supported s-off software.

so basically im stuck on hboot intill someone tests the an ruu for 1.58.00?
As brian706 said there is no VM RUU yet, and may never be, that includes the 1.58 hboot installed by the March OTA. Your best bet is to go for S-OFF at this point and we will do everything we can to help if you're willing to do that since we would like to be able to tell other users in your situation what is necessary to get S-OFF.

is there any way for to flash a recovery or anything?
You should be able to unlock using the .bin file that was used to root before doing the OTA update, then flash a custom recovery and either root the stock ROM or flash a custom ROM. However, if you are interested at all in getting S-OFF now would be the best time to try. You would still need to unlock to do that if you haven't already.

I'm confused on where you are at. Or how you got there... If the RUU failed, it shouldn't have changed anything. Will your phone not boot up normally?

It sounds like you don't have a recovery installed anymore possibly. Try the steps again to flash recovery to your phone and then boot recovery. All this would be done through command prompt.

Can you select fastboot from the bootlader screen? If so, plug your phone into the PC and you should see FASTBOOT USB in red letters. Then use your sdk-tools to run commands like when you rooted to flash and boot recovery. Then once in recovery, flash a stock based rom.

I am going to be away for the next 2 or 3 hours doing family stuff. Sorry for the bad timing, but there are many here who can and will hep. I'll peek in when/if I can and will be for sure checking back in once I'm finished.

I don't think you're screwed at this point, but tread carefully and ask questions if you don't understand some of the advice. You have no RUU to fall back on if things get too messed up!!

ok so it says

*** RELOCKED ***
***security warning***
shotter xc ship s-on rl
hboot-1.58.0000
eMMC-boot

Fastboot usb
OK, it looks like the March OTA took so the first thing you should do is unlock again using the same .bin file that you used for rooting before.

Try that and let us know how it goes.

never mind but my phone works now i just wish i can put it back to 100% stock i hate root now i always find a way to f*ck up my phone lol

Sounds like you are back to stock to me... if you change your mind in the future just make sure you read and understand the instructions before you take any action.

omgg it worked thank you soo much :D:D:D but do u know to s-off everything works
No, we don't know for sure since no VM user has reported yet that they've done it successfully with the 1.58 hboot. I don't think trying it is going to hurt your phone but can't guaranty that.

If you want to flash a custom recovery you should be able to do that now that your bootloader is unlocked again, but there is no way to flash the existing RUU with your current configuration.

Once you flash a custom recovery and ROM you would need to flash the stock recovery and an unrooted stock ROM to try the wire trick to get S-OFF. That's the closest you could get to relocking, flashing the RUU and unlocking, which is the preferred preparation for attempting the wire trick.

You could even try it with a custom recovery and rooted Sense ROM installed since some people have been successful with that configuration but they've all had the 1.57 hboot installed.

Harmonia is a good stock themed ROM that can be flashed with s-on, But im not sure if it will work with Hboot 1.58.

Just make sure you have smartflash enabled in 4ext!
