So turn up - then let us know which magazine cover you're going to be on :)

This is going to mean nothing to our American friends as I believe you're allowed to overtake on the inside but here we can't but we still have freaking eejits who do 60 in the middle lane when there's NOTHING in the inside lane!

For miles!

My day just keeps getting better

I get back to my spot and lay down when my "neighbor" comes over. Now mind you he is a really nice guy, about 60 years old, but he spends most of his day laying in the dirt sucking on a bottle of, whatever he can find. Now he comes over and tells me that just out of the blue someone gave him a job. Who would hire someone like that? And more importantly why can't I, a 33 year old male, willing to work anywhere, who is drug and alcohol free, find work in over 2 years but he just randomly gets a job.

Hi Miguel-
Brooke asked that we be set-up by 10am - the start shooting again at 11:30am (they have a video shoot)
I am just making sure someone will be there to let you in before 10am because I am not going to be in yet that early.
Brooke - can you please communicate with Miguel regarding what time someone will be there to let him in?
Thanks!
Jen

Ah my friend from across the pond rest assured we have the same regulations which are blatantly ignored and yes it angers me to no end!

The only difference is over here we do it properly and you are supposed to keep right!:p:D

I'll say: last time I drove in the US I was overtaken on the inside by a cop car. Which is kinda why I thought it must be legal.

I remember because it was one of the few cop cars that didn't pull me over. My fault: kept doing things like pulling a U-ee under the no U turn sign, beside a cop car.

Have to say that, apart from one in San Fran, California police are really very pleasant.

and yes it angers me to no end!

I finally feel validated

The only difference is over here we do it properly and you are supposed to keep right!:p:D

So how do you joust?!

You must keep left to ensure your sword arm is toward on-comers, as any fule kno.

Had to pick up my cousin early from school today because she got sick from the cafeteria food. Today was not my day to drive. I was being crowded and I was also honked at while going through an intersection I am not familiar with. To make matters worse, I got flipped off. I also needed to move to another lane and the person in front of me kept trying to prevent me from moving over. The driver then slammed on her brakes and I ended up with damage to my Jetta. I was blamed for the accident and was about to lose my temper when the police came. What a moron. San Antonio is a great city and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but the drivers are aggressive.

Ouch!

Not a good day.

Did the driver in front slam on the anchors for a reason or were they just being an a-hole? Not that you could anything even if it was the latter.

I used to be an aggressive driver. You know that red faced nutter, doing 90, 2" from your rear fender, clearly screaming like banshee and alternating between flashing their lights and honking their horn?

That was me.

Not any more. I've calmed down a lot since I did some work for the police a couple of years ago and realised that getting knicked probably wasn't going to help me make friends and influence people.

She was being an a-hole.

My "favorite" a-hole is the one who insists on slowing down before every street to check the street signs. Then turns right, and takes up half the left lane to do it. In rush hour.

This is standard behavior for the garage salers. If you see a garage sale sign, any traffic move is legal!

If you don't have GPS, then get a freaking map and memorize a couple of streets before the one you want!
