That said, can we please cool it with the Steven58 age jokes? I'm all for humor, but that low-hanging fruit has been absolutely picked bare. Humor is better when you have to think about it a little.

I never understood what's the purpose of a mail-in rebate or how this will work if purchase phone online.

I get $100.00 online discount and $100 New Every Two discount. That's $200 bucks right there.

If Phone is $399.99 for 2-year contract, then I have to pay $199.99 after all discounts
If Phone is $299.99 for 2-year contract, then I have to $99.99
If Phone is $199.99 for 2-year contract, then Verizon owes me $0.01 cent.

So how exactly will this work?

I think the wording on the NE2 is "up to" $100 , $50 , $30 ect

How do you enroll in the New Every Two program online? I'm defiantly switching from Sprint to Verizon. Today it was driven home to me that being on Verizon is not just about great coverage to retrieve my data but a safety issue!!

Remember if you purchase it at the Verizon store you have to cut the UPC off of the box to get the $100 mail in rebate. This then does not allow you to return the phone under the 30 day worry free. So if you wait the 30 days then the 2-6 weeks to get the rebate card that is longer then if you purchase at BB or online and get the instant rebate and can still return the phone for 30 days and BB has no restocking fee.

Not that anyone is palnning on returning it

I never noticed how close the dimensions were until now. That's definitely a good thing.

Interesting, my phone is the primary, I'm 6 months past my NET date, but my NET discount is only $50.

I called Verizon and complained about the $50.00 credit and they are giving me 1 month service credit to renew my NE2 to make up the difference.

I am SO sorry if this has already been asked--been trying to keep up.

But, does this mean I can go into the Verizon store on the 19th and return my droid and pre order the INC to get it when it's available?

I just want to know how this works....and again, I apologize, as I'm sure it's posted somewhere in this thread, but I can't find it!
