Root [ROM] Quattrimus JB (CM10.1, AOKP42)

anyone else have a big problem with bluetooth on this one?
Haven't tried, but I can't seem to get Exchange email to work. I keep getting a 'blocking i/o operation has been interrupted (-12)' error. That's kind of a dealbreaker for me, since I need this phone for work email.

So it turns out I really want a good dpi solution.

The phablet ui isn't the panacea that I thought it was. It's kinda cool to have the multi-pane stuff for a change, but I don't see how to turn it off. I tried switching back to "stock ui" and the multi-pane stuff is all still there in settings, email, browser, etc. Hmm, not quite so cool if you can't turn it off. But on the other hand, the small status bar and notification share are just awesome. IMNSHO of course. :p

As far as I can tell, the only real issue with changing the dpi is that the play store freaks out and says that 90% of the apps are not compatible with the device. So why don't we just lie to the play store and let it think we're at 320 dpi while the rest of the system sees the real dpi? That's exactly what I aim to do next. i'll be whipping up a patch and testing it over the next few days. I highly doubt CM would accept that patch, but AOKP just might...

And in other news, I started wrestling with building AOSP 4.2 today. I'll probably have a build soon.

There's a hack I found.

Open the store when you're @ 320 and update all your apps... Try to get the most updated store too. Change the dpi, reboot and the apps will be in the store and will remain there until there's a store update or the app data for the store is deleted.

That's what I did and it worked every time on aokp. I'm on pac now and don't change the dpi.

Yeah that works but it's a pita. If you could lie to the play store, all that bs would be gone.

Anyone find the torch on PACrom yet? I can't find it and I use it every night when I check on the kids.

AOKP has it in the toggles/tiles and will also let you add it to the power menu...

I didn't see it in the apps. Open vpn doesn't work with it either. No big deal, I guess.
Strike that... It's there. If you need it, I can send it to you.

Holy crap... I just found the PA magic. When any app is open, pull down the toggle/tile shade and select the one with the DPI and app name and row of dots. That allows you to change the DPI and layout on a per app basis.

Wow. Just wow.

You can also go to /settings/hybrid properties. Then click ParanoidAndroid Settings up top and it slides out a menu and go to apps. That's where you can change per app DPI and everything. For layout, 600p makes gmail and other apps into tablet mode. 360p is to set it back to "normal"

Okay. I'm having a rather strange issue. I flashed the pac ROM everything was fine but my touch screen started to respond with a jitter. I clean restored my cm 10.1 4-2-13 nightly after to see if it was the ROM. No go still jittering. I'm on your kennal TDM if that helps any. Was working fine before PAC.

Just got a successful AOSP build. I know for a fact it's not going to be functional yet because there's at least one necessary patch that I haven't applied. But a good build is always nice. :)

I'm on CM10.1 Feb 18 build of TDM,with my spectrum VS920 4G, but I cant seem to be able to configure outlook.com EAS account thru my phone's exchange. I read other folks here having similar issues. Could someone pls. look into this and let me know if updating my build to latest would solve that ?

The interesting point is that my outlook.com configures well and works fine in Touchdown app- so obviously there's something wrong with native exchange profile. And I really need that as its important for me to continue using the device and sync it directly with my email/calendar/contacts in outlook.com in native CM10.1 email app. Pls. help...thanks in advance

I'm really liking the PAC rom tdm, thanks for getting it working for us. The lockscreen lag doesn't exist in the PAC rom which both the official AOKP and CM had considerable lockscreen lag on my phone, and that was with no extra widgets, just pure stock setup. I also like the features of PAC but I can't seem to find the settings for a few things. The main thing is being able to change the tiles in the notification window. I'm sure I'm overlooking it but can someone point me in the right direction please, thanks.

PS. you should make a thread for the PAC rom tdm. I definitely think you should continue work on it. but if not it would still be nice to have an independent thread for it because I plan on running it for a while, and I'm sure others are too. It seems to run smoother than cm and aokp, and it's features are nice as well.

If you mean the quick settings tiles, they're under Settings / System / Status bar / Quick Settings panel

So... Does the kernel in PAC ROM sheep WiFi correctly or does your kernel work with it?
